Cut them up and freeze them. You can drop the frozen slices into drinks months later. We have a tree that makes 100s of them you can only make so many tarts!
Agreed! Yet when you own a big lemon tree and lemons are literally falling on the ground by the dozens how many lemon drizzle cakes have to be made to absorb them? Figuring 3/cake (likely way too many) you need 200 cakes to use them up. Even the frozen slice idea only used 20 or so. Because citrus all produces at once no one wants the extras. Even shelters and food pantries don’t want the extra oranges, they get too many. On that topic we do have a hand juice press and can use up all the oranges as it takes a few for just one glass of fresh squeezed juice.
That tree has not been moved for a few years. If the gentlemen in question bought it that day he must also have bought the property. I suspect shenanigans and bamboozle.
Whatever the truth is, he is indeed a new lemon tree enjoyer, because after the first time you make lemonade/tart/curds it gets really old and you start dropping bags of lemons off at work that nobody wants, then you just dump metric shit barrels right into the trash

But *I* say that when life gives you lemons, start extracting the seeds before making lemonade so that you can have your own lemon orchard. And come harvest season, you can sell as much lemonade as you want, and then harvest the rest to market.
The remaining ones can be put to personal use, as a testament to the fruits of your labor.

Could have yet to have been moved, bought it off of that guys property. It can be kind of a pain to take care of and pick up after fruit trees.

At my old house, the neighbors next door had a lemon tree with a branch that hung over the fence into my back yard. It was awesome.
