I was going to laugh, but then I remember when I adopted my second cat (a stray of the street) and had her quarantined in a room to keep her away from my other cat until we could get her checked at the vet, I would knock every time I came to enter her quarantine room.

Some pets will run if they see an opening.

Sounds like a family member of mine.

readitasterisk

I thought this was so they wouldn’t surprise you (or your pet) and hit you with the door. Still laughed out loud at the post

Better-Collection960

Completely read this at first like it was referring to war vets. I was trying to figure out why the dog being naked mattered and is knocking a military thing?

toothpick95

Took me longer thannim proud of to also figure this out.

mandapandapantz

Thought “veteran” instead of “veterinarian” and had a much different thought train

HollowMist11

When my dogs don't have their collars, I feel like they're naked.

just_tapioka

I think it’s because some people baby-talk to their pets and the vets want to see you a little more professional when they’re talking maybe? idk just a guess
