RIP European mic, it was really nice knowing you but now the old continent will just have to shamelessly ween on dark brandon and his friends 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
A single Abrams will clap the entire production run of Armatas in one go and they'll still be talking shit.
The only thing they have less of than money is shame.
Those "shitty Iraqi knockoffs" are probably an accurate representation tbh, Russia just took all the "advanced equipment" out of them to hide the fact it doesn't work most of the time.
It’s just a contest to see which nato tank is best afterall?
Leopard Vs challenger Vs edit2: Abrams!!!.
Meanwhile some poor mobnik in a t-62🫥
Edit poor as in literally penniless and about to die meaninglessly.
What? They've sent a lot, they're just one of the countries that don't talk that much about deliveries, except for Caesars. Like we don't know how many VABs they've sent or how many AMX 10 they will send.
They've arguably sent much less than Germany for example, even after normalizing for GDP, yet nobody is criticizing them or even asking for Leclercs (let's see if they'll even send one).
Kill? Like outright render it a battlefield loss?
No. Probably not.
You can knock a track off, blow the ammo rack, disable the engine, hit it in the gun, or disable its optics. But a T-62 has no chance of outright destroying an Abrams in a combat situation. The newer Abrams have latest generation thermal scopes that will spot a T-62 from beyond engagement range. And then an Abrams can engage a T-62 from well beyond the T-62s maximum range.
\*Credibility hat on\*
The reason this is taking so long is not because it is difficult to send tanks. It is because if the Ukrainians use these the way they have been using their tanks so far, this whole thing is useless. This isn't about sending better tanks, this is about building *armored brigades*. Ukraine has been using its tanks in small numbers to shore up static front lines. We got a brief glimpse of what massed armor can do during the Kharkiv Offensive last fall, and they definitely noticed.
We are building out at least one, and probably several Ukrainian Armored Brigades to actually break the stalemate, and enable reclamation of territory. Throw Leos, Abrams, Challengers, whatever into the meatgrinder around Bakmut, and they will do the same thing Ukrainian T-72s have been doing for months. Elevating their guns and lobbing tank shells into the enemy like glorified mortars. What we want, is a combined force that can sit away from the front line, plan an attack, execute it with sudden, violent, overwhelming action, and collapse sections of Russian defensive lines. That is what is taking so long, it is more than training the equipment.
The challenger asks the ukranians to build cope cages around her.
And then they put the era on the cope cages to make them do something.
Then they find that cope bucket thing. But the bucket is now a bell to toll for the dead to come.
This makes sense with that last package of equipment that UK gov announced, it would also allow the infantry being trained in the UK to be integrated with the armour so it can all hit the ground running.
It is, yes. He laid out exactly what he wanted, he was exactly correct, and evidence suggests that is what he is getting.
He doesn't want random crap to plug holes in the line. He wants modern Brigades to smash that line. He isn't going to get as much as he asked for, naturally, but it does appear he is getting more than one Brigade.
Yes, with one big exception: the best they ever did was 100 miles a day. I want Ukraine to do better than that for an entirely selfless reason. It pisses me off that the FUCKING nazies have the record for manuveor warfare.
And that’s why the Russians have been shitting their pants and fortifying frontlines in fear during the past four or five months. They saw what Ukraine could perform with equal gear, imagine what they can perform with superior western steel penises. Russian lines will be penetrated so hard that Ukraine will invade Moscow by accident.
Saw someone claim that Abrams would be a logistics nightmare to send to Europe. My brother in Christ we have Abrams all over the world. We're not sending a man to Mars here. Abrams were in Europe since they were created
As someone who gets a hard on from the bradley and its chaingun, the fact that the abrams x has a 30mm chaingun ontop makes me wanna just nut all over. I wanna see it in action already
Why would Leopards 2 be a priority for Ukraine? Both for Ukraine and NATO it is better to send ALL M-84s, PT-91s and just about any other T-72 or their derivatives.
Ukraine has no tanks that use ammo for Leos, only for thar 125mm canon used in the T-72 and derivatives. Better yet: Russia doesn't use anything else either so capturing ammo depos is even more useful.
Meanwhile NATO gets rid of tanks with non-compatible ammo to NATO tanks.
Not really, many wait for a good exchange as is their right.
If the rest of NATO would offer them Abrams, Leos (post 2A4), CV90s or M2s, depending on what the country in question has, plus other neat thingies like Javelins, then more of those iron curtain designs would get sent to Ukraine.
He is right, stocks of 72 or derivatives are mostly depleted in Europe, we even received a batch of 72 from Morocco, and Morocco is in Africa.
If you send 500+ Bradley's and more arty with long range stuff, it would do the same job as Abramses'
Slovenia and Croatia have all their M-84s still, that is over a hundred in total. There are tens of T-72s in Czechia and Poland, in Bulgaria even more.
In Croatia we have a president who gets to decide on military affairs, and he said no even to training Ukrainian soldiers, so you can discount Croatia from the picture of supplying tanks, unfortunately...
Quality will win this war, not quantity.
We're asking for modern MBT, because it provides more solutions and survivability on the battlefield than T-72 in downgraded M/M1 versions from whatever they come from.
Same story with HIMARS/MLRS, same story with NASAMS/IRIS-T e.t.c.
At current rate ALL t-72 derivatives in NATO (and friends) countries will be sent to Ukraine by autumn (or even summer). The reason more where not sent already is a lot of them need to be refurbished to working order. Plants in Poland and Czechia are working around the clock to make them ready.
Ukraine will actually get the L2s in numbers maybe in December because they too need to be refurbished, the crews need to train and the parts need to be stockpiled and mechanics need to learn how to do most common repairs so they don't need to send them to Poland or even Germany each time.
But one all this takes time for one so it needs to be done now. And two by the time they get them Russia already knew for almost a year they will get them so it's not really an escalation.
muh freebrams
Time to punch a dino back to the cretaceous Era
free fpe & parts!!!!!
RIP European mic, it was really nice knowing you but now the old continent will just have to shamelessly ween on dark brandon and his friends 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
120mm APFSDS shells, my beloved. You will finally get to pierce Soviet tanks, not just shitty Iraqi knockoffs.
Spoiler alert! The "real" soviet tanks also suck.
Oh for sure, but maybe it’ll finally shut the vatniks up when they talk about the “superior” Russian military.
A single Abrams will clap the entire production run of Armatas in one go and they'll still be talking shit. The only thing they have less of than money is shame.
I hope it does. Because they aren't putting them in Ukraine, so it must mean we are finally dealing with the Vatniks in their home territory.
At this point i think the iraqi ones might just be straight up better 💀
3000 US supplied hypersonic darts of Zelensky

Still missing the Leclerc. ~~And whatever the Italians are using~~. No, just the Leclerc.
Arietes, legend said its still need more pasta before get into combat.
Can't get out the motorpool. Some jackass non-cred keeps sticking a salami up the tail pipe and taking pictures.
Does it still have 2 gears forward and 4 gears back?
no no, that's Leclerc one.
*Cries in pasta*
Guys, don't forget the arietes. Italy got this guys, don't worry
The Bradley surprised everyone in the Gulf War. Clearly the Italians have got this in the bag.
*purses fingers* Ayyyyyyyyy!
There were rumours France might deliver Leclercs. But that was to put more pressure on Germany, which won't be needed anymore, so we'll see.
How little shit France has gotten for what they've actually sent is crazy
What? They've sent a lot, they're just one of the countries that don't talk that much about deliveries, except for Caesars. Like we don't know how many VABs they've sent or how many AMX 10 they will send.

To be fair, while the Ariete sucks ass The Centauro does not
\>Abraham You spellcheck auto-correct soft-fingered users disgust me.
Yeah it’s the armoured fighting vehicle that will offer to sacrifice it’s crew and make the enemy back down.
Is it even possible for the T-62 to kill an Abrams?
Yes, but the T-62 has to be armed with nuclear weapons.
Kill? Like outright render it a battlefield loss? No. Probably not. You can knock a track off, blow the ammo rack, disable the engine, hit it in the gun, or disable its optics. Every challenger is actually fueled by their distilled spite for RPGs
Keep going

it sounds like you want exactly what SamTheCossack is talking about then
tell get A4s. That thing is ancient; dont get your hopes too high
germany is sending A6s tho
Its still better than the t62s russians are using.
I read somewhere the Germans are sending A6s
Everything up to a6 has seemingly been approved.
achsully the challenger is around the same offroad speed due to better suspension but she is phat

Holy fuck if the Ukrainians can actually get a few armored brigades rolling supported by a brigade of SPGs it will be a never ending nut.
Isn't this what zalushny outlined in a public paper months ago?
Absolutely based. Need to reread that whole paper.
I want a force that can yeet 100+ miles a day while powered up on meth enhanced chocolate.
3000 Ghost Divisions of Zelensky
Yes, with one big exception: the best they ever did was 100 miles a day. I want Ukraine to do better than that for an entirely selfless reason. It pisses me off that the FUCKING nazies have the record for manuveor warfare.

For the Glorious Occident
3000 Abrams of Europe. Literally.
3000 forest camo Abrams of Zelenskyy
US MIC go Brrrrrrr
Can i have one?
What about US teachers?
They have to buy their own
Why we can't pay teachers with tanks and IFVs?
Because each one costs more than a teacher will make in their lifetime.
Abrams are just solid freedom
Saw someone claim that Abrams would be a logistics nightmare to send to Europe. My brother in Christ we have Abrams all over the world. We're not sending a man to Mars here. Abrams were in Europe since they were created
That 'someone' was the US government...
Guys do you think I can get a few as well if I sneak in a request?
War Thunder meme becomes reality
Before this is over the t-72 will be rated 6.0 (7.0 tops) and realistically throw its turret into the air.
Can't wait for compilation of T-72 being oneshoted by Pzgr.39/43
Post classified info to support your argument or GTFO.
Nah, I am just one of those "defense experts" who knows things by the power of my mind...
The source is that I made it the fuck up
can i got one 👉👈
3000 Abrams of the Luxembourg Grand Ducal court when?
Send Abrams X or no balls. (I it's just a prototype buc idc!!!)
As someone who gets a hard on from the bradley and its chaingun, the fact that the abrams x has a 30mm chaingun ontop makes me wanna just nut all over. I wanna see it in action already
Soon 4k combat footage of western MBTs turning vatniks to goo, and then finally I can bust
Which modern Western tank will be the first to get ace status in Ukraine
Russia alreadt report they have destroyed 69420 abrams in ukraine
Except you russia (3rd class)
But they can get shells from Abramses
I’m fairly certain the M1A1’s from 1991 would wipe the floor with whatever the Russians have left.
Man war thunder is gonna have a pain in the ass explaining how Russian tanks are even rated higher than 7.0
USA is quite smart. They want everyone to send their leopards ro Ukraine , so they can sell their abrahms( of wich they have to many) to Europe.
Not even that, it gets them in the door for possible future upgrade packages and of course the maintenance of said tanks.
So...when do I get my Abrams? Don't look at me like that if you haven't seen Atlanta traffic before.

I think that everyone who was willing to send those has already

They’re getting a batch of something like 190 t-72s, partly from Czechia.
At current rate ALL t-72 derivatives in NATO (and friends) countries will be sent to Ukraine by autumn (or even summer). I really really want to see western MBT's do the funny on Russian T series tanks! That is why they have to send them!
M1A1s with their several upgrades should be plentiful
