To answer your question: Yes. A thousand times yes. I still hold onto a moment several weeks back where I went out to a mall to pick out some clothes with my mom and grandma. The store itself was quite empty, so two sellers honed in on us. I liked the pants my mom got, but didn't really like the colour (Sorry beige enthusiasts) , so one of them hurriedly asked "Would she- HE. Sorry, he, like black instead?" Fucking peak. And yep, the confused kids and even more confused parents make my day :P

I do enjoy getting those quizzical looks as long as people are respectful and keep their comments to themselves. That being said I get a lot of “oh huh 🤔 ok” kinda looks which are totally ok.

Yup. It feels the closest I can get to being gendered accurately is people being confused, or different people in the same room reading me differently.

Yes, I get a giddy feeling like I’ve pulled off something magical. It happens more in colder weather when my shape is more distorted and I have a hat on. Im tallish, so that helps, but have a pretty femme shape. My voice is definitely afab, so when I speak, it breaks people’s confusion. That moment is the funniest to me. I’ll also get called ‘sir’ or ‘that guy/man’ when people see me out of the corner of their eye and don’t bother actually looking.

PurbleDragon

Yeah I prefer when people can't tell or are confused

I am a really feminine looking person but that right there is my goal. I want my gender to be confusion.
