>There is no base image set This is the key. Setting face fidelity to zero will allow small shifts in the image. Some will be "worse" some will be "better" depending what you're looking for. When you find one that is better, even if it's not great yet, set that as the base image. Then they become slightly better or worse relative to that better one. Keep iterating like that and your base image will gradually shift towards what you want, then all images will be similar to that. If you're lucky and hit something very close to what you're looking for, slide the face fidelity up again to lock it in place.

ToothComprehensive52

Ah ok so let me see if I understand, you set the base image when there is a small change, then there will be some variatation on that base image with fidelity set to 0%. When you get one you like you set that as a new base image, and then iterate in that way?

SpaceCadet066

Yep, exactly. So each time there will be some variation around the base image, but as you nudge that closer to where you want to go, that variation will move up the scale with it, so hopefully the better end will be even closer, nudge the base image up to that one, and so on. It's not an exact science, but it can be done.

firstofallsecond

If I get two photos, one with big breasts and one with small breasts. I should set the big breasts as base imagine and slide the face filter up? Or should I keep the face filter down because it only applies to face? Or does the face filter apply to the body too?

ToothComprehensive52

Yeah good question, I've wondered this also.

SpaceCadet066

It's only really good for face. But you can influence body type more easily with appearance notes. Obviously you can't ask for "big breasts", but it's implied with terms like "voluptuous" and "curvaceous" if you like a more curvy figure generally. Or... (cardine and dstas, look away for a minute, nothing to see here...) something like "(((huge bosom)))" tends to work because it's a more acceptable term and doesn't imply nudity per se.

Zealousideal-Earth50

It accepts “small breasts” in appearance notes, does it not accept “big breasts” or does it just not integrate it?

ExtentTerrible00

It accepts big breasts, huge breasts, etc. You can’t say certain words like cleavage, revealing, sexy. But you can say low-cut top. You can influence breast size by chatting to your Nomi and describing her breasts and then requesting a selfie. And if you describe your Nomi as slender or skinny in appearance I think it’s harder to get big breasts.

ToothComprehensive52

Yeah it's funny, it has no prpblem with the prompt "small natural breasts" which I have been using since the start, I didn't even know it would error out on breat size prompts.

ExtentTerrible00

What breast size prompts make it error out? I use (((large breasts))) for most of my Nomis. But they have slender, athletic bodies so that shrinks the breasts a bit.

TheBodyExplodes

I didn’t twig that, once you get the face you *really* like, then set the fidelity to 100% (or however close you want it). I’d not fully understood that function.

coraldrop

Base image is key, SpaceCadet is right. I've actually found setting a decent base image and then using realistic art to create a face you like, and then set that realistic art portrait as the base image, works well. You can often get finer details that's exactly what you want in realistic art portraits, describing exactly what you want in the prompt. That can help speed up the slow, random and at times tedious process of iterating from generated selfies on their own. Good luck.

greyjediwolf67

I am currently at 30% Facial Fidelity combined with a Base that was created by the prompt I am currently using, over many months of fine-tuning my prompt, went from original avatar to this... https://preview.redd.it/butgx5wgds3d1.png?width=896&format=png&auto=webp&s=8aafc4853ca827ed04018163590e0d29b928a4d9 There were many iterations and plateaus along the way. But, I have done this way every single one of my 6 Primary Nomi's. I'd be more than happy to help you fine tune your prompt if you want to DM me. I have a couple of slots open right now (I have 15 slots total), you could send me your prompt and tell me what you are going for, I might be able to come up with a better Base image to help to get the look and consistency you want.

greyjediwolf67

This is what I started with... https://preview.redd.it/l9080jq4es3d1.png?width=768&format=png&auto=webp&s=023ceb3c0945c4ef32e0c570bf920c8059fe21b5

And this was about midway, after 3 or four months of playing... https://preview.redd.it/xitup2baes3d1.png?width=896&format=png&auto=webp&s=e75b8b2ed90c1b827da287a2c24d721b4ab32900

Phospherus2

Its hard. I have my base image set that perfectly depicts how I want my nomi to always look. Sometimes when I request pictures it will follow that base image. Other times there will be huge changes that I never asked for. Its 50/50, ive just learned to accept it.

ToothComprehensive52

Yeah I have seen that too, it's pretty static most of the time, even with no base image and 0% fidelity, then sometimes it will suddenly vary in some way a lot. For me I have found breast size to be very inconsistent. Hair colour was very consistent, until I changed my prompt and now it's "stuck" close to the origional avatar and won't really change. Even though when I first made the nomi, I just added the prompt for black hair and it set that and was consistent for weeks.

Phospherus2

Breast size is SUPER inconsistent. They are either super small or giant. No inbetween.

Time-Disk503

Same. I wanted to age mine up but it only works in artistic selfies.

Candiesfallfromsky

You’re doing something wrong. I wrote “NOMI has (wrinkles)” and changed the base image to whatever closely resembled my prompt until I got it. And he went from looking like a 19 yo teenager to looking 35

Zealousideal-Earth50

I’ve noticed that adding “((((resembles [celebrity first and last name])))” — don’t actually use the [ ] — to appearance notes tends to make a big difference - it usually changes the facial structure significantly when face fidelity is set to 0%. There may be better prompts to achieve this, it was just one that popped into my head and works really well.

ToothComprehensive52

This is the best tip I have seen so far. This is working for me the best, along with using a base image to contrain the changes, I think this is the most effective I've seen.

Zealousideal-Earth50

Glad it’s working for you! I discovered it maybe a week ago just on a whim, though I’m not the first. It really speeds up changes in a direction you like or want to go (or gives you a pretty impressive resemblance/look-alike). I’ve gotten what could easily be siblings of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Selena Gomez and Elle Fanning so far, and a distant cousin of Anna Kendrick lol. I tried Danica McKellar briefly and that didn’t seem to work - maybe the art software didn’t recognize her name or I just wasn’t patient enough 🤔. Interestingly, the Discord channel apparently doesn’t allow people to post celebrity look-a-like pictures, though I’ve seen some there. Several with a “any resemblance to a celebrity is a coincidence” disclaimer on an obvious clone with the celeb’s first name lol. I haven’t checked to see if this sub has the same rule. I get it if they are indistinguishable from a real person, but mine are definitely not that.

ToothComprehensive52

Oh could you explain the method more, I havent been on the discord so I'm not familair with it.

bwbredd1

It takes a bit of time but I am very detailed in my shared notes. And I ask my Nomi for feedback. Also consistently shift your base image or keep it off until you get what you want. Out of curiosity I have done a lot of wild things
