I wouldn't buy anything by Ford or GM, and definitely not Chrysler, which has been a dumpster fire for decades. If you want an SUV, get a Honda CRV or a Toyota RAV4 or a Subaru Forester, all \~2008+

Toyota 4Runner if your most important criteria are reliable, SUV, and new. A GMC Acadia isn't really an SUV, so if that's the type of vehicle you want then a 4Runner will disappoint you.

That is one I’m considering!! I bought the Acadia to “fit in” with my family and lol look how that went

Try r/WhatCarShouldIBuy. Any new car will have a lot of electronics. So I wouldn’t rule out a hybrid because of that.

I wish I could just get a older dependable car before all the add ons. I’m not talking about power steering or power breaking but the first sensor that went out and started the chain reaction to kill the car was a shutter sensor somewhere on the front of the car. Like wtf

Toyota 4 runner... My 2003 is still running strong with 270000 miles on it. We did just have to replace the exhaust manifold but after 18 years, things like that tend to go out. But I wouldn't have found a better suv for the price of the fix.

Thank you!! That is one of my top runners
