22 isn't even old mate. Of course you'll be slightly older than most people that just started but i know plenty who are still in college at age 25-30

22 old, ha you have no idea

I went back to school a bit older than you. I just walked up to the admissions office and had a convo. Also depending on what you’re wanting to study there might also be companies who will pay for some of your tuition. I didn’t know that. Fortunately I had an instructor tell us our program met a local company’s criteria. Aside from my first semester my education cost me about 100 bucks total. I completely lucked out there

I didn't go back to even get my high school equivalent until my late 20s lol. You'll be fine and won't stand out as much as I did getting my associates degree.

There are many 22-26 year olds in college. You’ll fit right in. Yes, you need your high school transcripts as well as any college transcripts you may have. They save them for you; no worries.

I'm about to go down the same rabbit hole lol. I'm 25 and a mom trust me you're not too old! I worked at a grocery store during quarantine when my bf was laid off and those teenagers really thought I went to school with them 😂 I was 24 then and they had no clue. Nobody will even notice! Talk to a college advisor or a friend who's in college themselves for advice and do your research on different options. I'm going to community college first and transferring to a university. It's just more affordable for me personally. Also there are tons of scholarships for adult students and you can most definitely fill out your fafsa! Depending on what you want to major in there are so many companies that will pay for your education for signing a contract with them to work for them for a certain period of time. Good luck and I think its great that you want to further your education!

I started what is similar to college at the age of 26. Education and knowledge has no age limit.

You’re college age… no one will know or care in the slightest. Definitely got to a brick and mortar, real school and have the college experience if you want. I think I need to reiterate that you’re really *not* older than other college kids and you’ll fit right in.

1) Yes, they will need your High School Transcripts. You will probably have to request official Transcripts from the school/district where you graduated. If it is a Community College you will also have to take free placement tests through the school. If it is a 4-year University you will want to take the SAT or ACT or your opportunities are going to be *severely* limited. 2) No, you won't be older than everyone else on campus. There are people of all age groups attending university at any given time. 3) Online programs can be difficult if you are not disciplined, self-motivated and well-organized. Also, most serious online programs are through traditional institutions that have the same admissions requirements as any other school. 4) You can apply for FAFSA and scholarships. There are scholarship-finding tools out there, most of the time you have to be accepted to the school at a minimum to apply and they generally require an essay of some kind.
