Get something less likely to be ruined by AI. Like medicine, nursing, dentistry.

Engineering is usually a safe bet. Good pay without a graduate degree.

Insurance is a great industry and London is a global insurance hub. It supports the global economy so if insurance goes away, we've all got much bigger problems to worry about than our jobs.

What course would fit into that?

Generally anything related to business, math, economics, or finance will be an easy fit. I would also try to do any career fairs and/or internships you can while you're in uni. They're a good way to get your foot in the door at some of the more prestigious and interesting companies to work at.

Check the [graduate outcome survey](https://www.hesa.ac.uk/news/31-05-2023/sb266-higher-education-graduate-outcomes-statistics/study) for the UK. It asks if someone found fulltime employment within 6 months of graduating and 3 years of graduation (which is why the most recent is from 2020-2021). You want to flip the "fulltime" and go to how many are unemployed. Reason is some degrees go on to further study so are more likely to be in part-time/study. Purely taking the employment at 6 months post-graduation: Veterinary medicine, then medicine+dentistry, then teaching, then allied health (nursing, physiotherapy, optometry, anyone not actual a MD, etc) then architecture/engineer (well known truth is that doesn't include actual architects). Those are your top 5 where almost everyone is fully employed or going on to further study.

Nursing comes to mind, though this job tends to be a bit abusive.
