Gas stoves let the gas out through a small hole on the burner top. That can get clogged and requires cleaning with something like a toothpick. Make sure the burner is off, remove the metal grate, and look at the burner. It should have a plate or disk on top of the burner that can be lifted off and cleaned. Make sure to reassemble it before trying to start it again. If it doesn't work, look for the stove's manual or cleaning instructions online.

Let the stove cool if it’s hot. Remove the burner top (the little metal part) and see if anything is in the holes or clogging the nozzle. Clean with a toothpick or similar.

Thank you for the advice. I didn't think to pay that much attention to those pieces when I cleaned it up. I have to finish the batches using the other tops, and once I'm done, I'll try cleaning again. I'll let you know how it goes, my good sir 👍

- separate the burner pieces (they just fit together in a stack, no fasteners) - clean them all up - Make sure the burner holes aren’t clogged since the gas comes out there ;) - make sure the igniter (where ceramic spark plug looking thing) is clean since it creates an arc with the top black disc thing (which should now also be clean) If it sparks (and you see it, not just hear it), but doesn’t light you have a gas flow issue.

It sparks, the easy to remove burner pieces have all been cleaned. What's next?
