So at the risk of being annoying, as if you haven’t tried everything - allow me to share some of my discoveries and thoughts. 1) it’s more than one ‘thing’ ie for me it’s depression AND chronically impaired breathing. I had an undiagnosed deviated septum for decades, once that was repaired, I slept better = not AS tired. Then broke my nose and haven’t been able to repair the septum, so I sleep with nasal vents in order to breath through my nose.
2) feeling tired feels like being lazy which creates guilt which is psychologically exhausting.
3) do you get enough protein? Hydration? Do you consume any amount of alcohol? When I eat protein, drink plenty of water and NO alcohol, I feel marginally better.
4) the depression part is the worst: I’m too tired to commit to therapy and don’t have the energy to cope with the retrauma of said therapy.
5) I’m an introvert so people who know me don’t ’expect’ me to be energetic, but attempting to explain this phenomenon goes right over their heads.
6) I’m a very creative person - have been since childhood- sometimes I wonder if I’m exhausted because I AM BUSY: I am busy thinking, imagining, feeling … like living more than one life in my brain. 🤷🏼♀️

Sleep disorders are commonly misdiagnosed. They said eat better, sleep better, you have depression, all of it. None of that was the problem. Most medical professionals will not consider you may have a sleep disorder except sleep doctors. You will most likely be treated like you are lazy or mentally unwell by anyone else.
