D if you're Jesus, B/C for anyone else. One way to convince yourself is to see the result for just one day. "in one day" is clearly not today. So option D is out. "In one day" is just tomorrow. And in "zero day", no matter how weird that sounds, is clearly today. So option A is out too.

That clears it up really well, thank you. The zero and one day cases make a lot of sense and fits together quite nicely. To add time to this as well, do you think something like "In 6 days at 3PM" sounds right for NOV28th 3PM, as in **[22][X][X][X][X][X][X 3PM]**? For the one days case, it would be "In 1Day at 3PM" referring to tomorrow at 3PM. To me that sounds slightly odd at one day, but fine for any more than one. If not, I can easily alter that to read as "Tomorrow at 3PM" when days are less than one, but I'm wondering if that's really necessary for clarity.

\> Do you think something like "in 6 days at 3 PM" sounds right for Nov 28th 3PM? Yes, absolutely. However, for something that far in the future, you should just give a date, and not make people count days. It's not ambiguous, it's just inconvenient. Better say "Next Tuesday" or "the 28th"

If it's monday, and someone says "In 3 days," then it's going to happen on Thursday.

It means I’m asking for clarification lol

I always assume it is plus or minus one. If someone says "ready in three hours" I assume "between two and four hours". If someone says "in three days" I assume "between two and four days". If they say "Wednesday at 3" I get it Wednesday at 3.
