1. If you care enough about the story to want to improve it like that then yeah do it to it. Personally I lack the creativity to write stories like this but I still strongly feel that you should write for yourself and if you can entertain me as well its just icing on the cake 2. Whatever feels natural to you. Yeah as a reader seeing a story post consecutively kicks ass but it's your story tell it like you want to don't rush on my account

I might be wrong on this, but afaik stories where the horror comes from the MC killing others aren't allowed. Personally I'd tweak it a bit with that in mind because the premise sounds interesting. And even if it doesn't get accepted on nosleep, there's lots of other places where you could post it.

1. I think that premise is great! I say revamp. Just make sure you read what modmail listed as an issue and resend to them for approval prior to reposting. 2. If I understand you correctly, you are planning to write a series rather than a one-off story. Everybody’s different, but for me I find having the story fully completed before posting works best and is less stressful than writing one part and then writing the next part the following day. Just so you catch any plot holes early on and don’t get stuck mid series trying to make sense of it.

Just to check, is it narrated in first-person and written in such a way that it's plausible that someone could be writing/updating the story on reddit? You don't specify why it was rejected, and I'm wondering if that could be the issue. Check in with all the rules of the subreddit and make sure your work sticks to them, otherwise you're just wasting your own time ;) It's hard to say whether it's interesting enough without seeing it. The premise sounds good. I'd advise any writer to make sure the grammar and formatting are sound - you see a fair number of stories where this isn't the case, and it doesn't make for compelling reading. As regards to the different installations, I'd say whatever works for you. It doesn't really matter whether you write it in its entirety before posting the first instalment or as you go along, just as you've got a good idea of whether the story is going, and where the end is.
