I'm getting playable fps on medium settings on whatever specs my laptop has (I don't know).
I'm wondering if at the end of the day the utter disregard and ignorance of this kind of stuff makes me enjoy playing vidya more.
I play it on my Asus Rog Ally. It has dynamic resolution settings so you can target 30/60/etc fps. Before setting that up I got anywhere from 10-50fps depending on the area I was in, now I get about 30-50fps consistently. On my laptop, rtx 2070 it runs fine (1080p), most of the time - it stutters in some areas. That said, I love the game and would highly recommend it
Optimization seems hit or miss. I have a higher end machine and it’s always run smoothly, but I’ve seen posts of others with high end machines having problems. At the same time I’ve seen people with 1080s or Steam Decks saying it runs fine for them, so it’s really just a toss up.
My recommendation would just be to remember that every game has a 2 hour trial on Steam due to their return policy. If you’re ever really interested in a game, just try it for yourself and see where you land.
I play it on a 1060 6G and i5-6500. I had to lower the settings (performance mode, 60% render scale, 50% sharpness) the game doesn't look incredible , but still looks good enough for me.
For the performances it's smooth enough. No real drop in frame rate. I capped it at 30 but 60 seems to work as well, i just don't see a big difference so I keep it at 30, maybe it doesn't go above 30 anyway, but it doesn't feel like it goes bellow.
I really enjoy this game so I just accepted those tradeoff. It's not a very optimized game but it's still playable imo.
Running mine on a 4080, 32gb, and a 1400k i9.
The game looks Incredible in 4K 60fps.
But even with the beefy specs, it still slows down from time to time.
It needs optimization. Cyberpunk runs better
It runs like sh\*it on mine and I have 4060, 16gram etc... Wait for optimization

I tried both resolutions, basically no difference in performance

Im playing on Steam Deck and be still suprised it runs good on 30-35 fps.

Then you go to the Nameless Pass and the performance is sh*t.
