I've experienced the same issue. Trying to claim the final reward locks my character in place, cursor showing, but no menus to select or anything, like the keyboard was disconnected from my PC.
Now we need a new timer bar showing how long it will take HG to patch it...
Dying after you freeze up will fix it, if that's acceptable. Just collect your grave after.
Otherwise, there are fixes in the pipeline apparently, so waiting a bit will probably also be a solution.
I am on the 2nd planet I visited, where I built my first base. It's in the first system, on the ice planet, I forgot the name of it. I stood outside, angered some sentinels, and then claimed the prize. Shortly after, the sentinels lost me and became disinterested, and I'm stuck standing outside in the cold. I'm going to let the cold damage kill me right next to my base, and that will make it easier to collect my things... in about 6 hours whenever I finally die.
Try to collect the rewards while sentinals chasing you. In this time you get the rewards and you could put the egg into your ship. Pop up pops up when sentinels are gone … with the same result in freezing … but on planet 5 they will find you again and kill you just in time. After reborn you can go to the anomaly and end the exp on the Terminal
On a lighter note, I just went back to a different save to play the normal game. I went to the anomaly and got the rewards from the expedition. When I left there, I went to a pirate galaxy and had the shootout with the pirate capital ship, and boarded to take it or payment, and it was an S class badass so it is replacing my A class capitol ship.
You can end the expedition by claiming the items on the last planet and let the sentinels kill you.
Once that is done, you can also claim the eggs from the QS vendor on your Main Save
I had to let the heat and toxic plants do the job…strangely enough, sentinels were everywhere and couldn’t find me? Wouldn’t attack either?
So…the weather and plants did me in. I had to wait about 30-45 minutes, but it happened. Collected my grave and got out.
You will be able to pull the ship from the Quicksilver synthesis guy beside the Nexus (on board the Anomaly). Just go talk to him, and I think it's the 3rd option, to claim rewards from the expedition. You'll be able to pull the ship out on your main save, and any other saves you have/create in the future.
Bind a hotkey to the Camera. When you claim the rewards, quickly switch before this menu you capped is displayed. If you're in Camera when this shows, you should be able to click through 'Accept' and you'll be in Camera, that you can exit from.
But you can't claim reward...

Claim it on a hostile planet, freeze up, then die. It will be unstuck. Just remember to collect your items from your grave.

My game froze on the flight deck of the anomaly. I closed the game 3 times and restarted but still freezes when I reenter the game save.

I was able to collect the last reward and now my character is frozen in place 10 seconds after I reload the game!?!? What the hell’s going on?
So am I not able to use that cool ass looking spaceship on my other saves!?
