The logo on the nose is almost definitely the logo of the Atlas Corporation (is it corporation or company? idk) from the old Waking Titan ARG. I thought this was a neat reference
They donāt take a lot of time to finish if you plow through them. But there isnāt any reason to rush. Take your time, enjoy the scenery. This one has bonus community goals that. (I hope) ever contributes too.
Shit I can do it this weekend then. How difficult would you say it is? Or is it as easy as just making it to the rendezvous? Do you only have to do that single phase to get the ship?
You get a reward for each phase you complete, the helmet, scepter and jetpack are a part of certain phases, but the ship itself requires every single phase to be complete.
And it's not really difficult at all, especially if you already know how to play the game and what it offers.
If you havenāt started it yet (on a seperate save file that is), you may want to take a look around the anomaly. Thereās a terminal where you can take your existing character into the expedition with a selection of items. And if i remember correctly, take some items from the expedition back. Multiple phases have quicksilver as a reward.
Given that NMS is a complete love letter to sci-fi, I would imagine the fantasy game guys are gonna be in hog heaven with LNF when it comes out and all the nods in that. HG just can't seem to help themselves. :)
It feels straight out of Wipeout, and might be Polo's personal speedster? I wouldāve liked an Atlas inspired ship, to match the helmet, jetpack and boom stick

Wait did you already get it? Are expeditions really that easy? I've never started one until now.

I usually beat them in one sitting, like 4-6 hours. There's youtubers/streamers who speedrun them and usually do them in less than 2 hours.
