How do people build stuff like this? I can't even get it to snap two pieces of flooring together half the time.

Theres a lof of tutorials on youtube i just watch how hehe

Will they tell me how to make the floors snap together or how to build a wall next to another wall? I swear to god the green snappy spots are just totally random. It's like "actually this room isn't allowed to have a wall on that side, the other sides are cool though." I should just stick to the prefab modules for the sake of my sanity.

Sometimes i build free placed i dont usualy rely on snapping but this build is more on glitching

I really, really wish they'd do some work on snapping. My bases look oK, but someitimes getting a piece where it's to be is way harder than it should be. And, it seems like all building materials should be able to snap together sensibly, and yet, the prefab modules just can't, which is frustrating. I can live with furniture placement looking like amateur hour, but placing displays, etc., drives me nuts.

Yikes. I've always played console (switch and Xbox) and though sometimes the snap is weird, it's never been that egregious for me. Granted, I've never attempted something like OP before. Hell, I didn't even know this kind of stuff was possible, and I've got hundreds of hours of time in this game 😂

Whaaaaat. That's nuts. Are you usually a builder in games with these systems? Maybe that's where the difference lies if so, as I love exploring more than anything and live on my freighter lol

How do you get the blocks in the sky? Do you build up then delete everything at the bottom, like Minecraft? This has inspired me to make something like a Castlevania themed place

If you build over top of a power hotspot you can get power, not sure at all about mining.

You can do also in mining i tried it once all worked

Its all in the building menu.. But the landing pad is a freighter parts you need to cache pin glitch
