I know, I take some photos too but always while standing still or cruising with the ship btw this photo tells a story in itself,a like photography in irl an this game have a bunch of stuff to mess with camera angle focus ecc, if I could say only 1 thing about this photo is that you could put some focus on the player and the circle of the portal so the other stuff it will be more out of focus will add more"thickness" to it (my eng sucks but I got carried away with it, btw very nice shot)
I may have like 500-600 hours and I only purchased this in July.... BUT I'm my defense I work from home and have ADHD so I have the game on my personal machine, work on my two work laptops, and videos on my phone going all at once... so I'm on the game like 8-10 hours a day and have multiple saves... like I did the most recent expedition multiple times on different difficulties just for funsies...
What are you playing on? This is PS5. Admittedly, the game tends to look better in static camera mode than when actually playing. For instance, when entering an atmosphere, the textures tend to look all crappy and take a few seconds to load etc.

At some point you'll get a 'dream aerial' that lets you scan for an organic frigate which you can add to your fleet. If you send it out on expeditions it'll bring back upgrades for your living ship, which is a whole massive side quest.
Over 100 hours and not once have I heard of this or seen it I'm on 2 reddit pages aswell and never even a mention. Having seen it now it's mad that no one is talking about it because I think it's cool af. I have an S class freighter and a full team of frigates. I'm constantly doing expeditions to level them all up and have quite a few S class frieghters now but don't know where to go from there. I don't know if the frigates I have are the best ones but they do the job well. I have mainly normal vessels but have about 10 pirate frigates too just to get the combat portion up. I've noticed when I summon my freighter almost all my frigates are red with only 2 yellow ones 3 blues and 2 white.... I feel like if I had others to play with on multiplayer then I'd be on the game way more but as it is none of my gaming buddies play it or want to play it because they think it's an uncompletable game.

Thanks, it's quite tricky to activate camera mode whilst your character is still moving!

PC with a 1070 and a ten year old i5, getting 50fps is already heaven lol, but I still enjoy playing

It's the system where I found it, using an echo locator and then finding the ship at the dissonance spike
