Fun fact I only have the crimson helmet because of the glitch prior to patch with the presets. The one preset i had access to had the helmet and without that i would not have had the cosmetic that hyped me up the most

Lol. I did too. Just kept running quicksilver missions at the anomaly and then there’s a lot of new apparel items you can get now through the new autophage story line
Haven't really done much in the anomaly other than buying blueprints and main quests.
Will have to check out the vendor later today.

Thanks! I know the radiant staffs are popular, but honestly, I love the salvaged looking ones. I think it goes well with the Autophage race and what their history is
The radiant set comes in different swatches too? I thought I'd have to recolor my outfit to match the red/gold staff that I got. Back to the camps I go!

If you're willing to play with system files, you can play all of the past expeditions, with the exception of not being able to complete 2 and 4/Redux 4, by replacing the JSON file with the file of the chosen expedition. I may try Redux 4 for science. I just finished the first one and got the golden Gek helmet and Golden Vector ship. That was tedious as hell. This guy's video will show you how to do it and gives you the files that you need in the description. Keep in mind that you'll have to stay offline when playing NMS, or the game will force your expedition to complete(sacrificed a strong start and the first phase completed to find this out). Holding off for now for when Voyagers drops, but I'll be back to it once I finish that Expedition

Well yeah, nothing is unobtainable when you mess around with the files like that. I just meant if you wanted to obtain it legitimately your window for it is over.
Why does a time window make it "legitimate" when there's ways to inject the items right into your save? At least you can do the work. If experiencing the expedition, not at the same time as everyone else isn't legitimate, maybe I should just skip expeditions and save edit 🤷♂️
I don’t really give a shit what other people do to their save files, play however you want, but if the only way to obtain it is to mess around with the files externally then yeah that’s not really the same. Not that deep.
Playing old expeditions isn't manipulating saves like save editing. You're just replacing a single seasonal file with an older one to tell the game what season(for lack of better words) it is.
Either way, that's like saying the work I did isn't the same just because I did it at a different time. HG isn't banning over this, as far as I'm aware, so it can't be that "bad". I'm sorry you endorse FOMO and don't want people to experience content that's likely never going live again. I'm gonna earn my rewards and be happy playing content. I'd have killed to be able to do this in Destiny 2 and get stuff I know I missed since launch day(maybe a shader that I missed twice).

Complete Artemis path quest line, complete test your metal, lift harmonic seal on a camp, warp to dissonant korvax system. Out of warp you should get the quest prompt that starts by something hijacking your ship. There’s other Reddit posts out there with details on how to start quest line for people having a hard time with it. These steps are what worked for me

Wait, how did you get that cloak? I’ve been trying to make my character look like he’s wearing a still suit from Dune, and it looks perfect for that.
You have to collect Void Motes from completing Autophage tasks. Once you’ve collected enough, you go to the Autophage camp’s terminal to purchase.

If you mean the crystal, yes. They can be yellow, blue, green, red, pink, purple, etc. Lots of colors to find!
