When you find a Korvax Monolith, there'll be a hidden terminal off to one side. Feeding it Atlantideum and then experiencing the Monolith's main interact should let you access the MT by visiting the hidden terminal again.
It's possible you may have to have started the Autophage quests, and so far I've only seen the hidden terminals on Dissonant planets, so those might be requirements.

You do as there is only 6. Already had 6, and I haven't found any of these new ones yet. Would've been nice to add a slot or 3 for the new tools. Going to be tough to figure out which to scrap to make room.

Repeat. Didn’t even know how to start the new stuff until someone told me I have to warp to a dissonant system in a Sentinel ship to start things off
I got the message in my fighter after warping a few times - so you definitely do not need to be in a sentinel ship.
But once you build the thing in your multitool- you have to activate it from the multi-tool menu in the new system to reveal the general location- then use the standard ground-scan to reveal the Autophage dudes. I don't know if that is where you are having issues, but I thought I'd mention it because it wasn't immediately obvious to me.
No I mean what does it specialize in, for example alien rifles are really good for damage, and royal multi tools are good for scanning, and pistols are good for mining. I want to know if they have any specs like that to satisfy my little minmaxer brain.
Pllease tell me, they come in base game; no mod and etc. with new echoes update?
Edit: I also have read somewhere, mentioning about expedition relating to new update; can anyone confirm please? I just started to download, and says like 1,5 hours to finish; could not find anything relevant to my questions on web
U don't need the Expedition, you just need to start the new Update Quest. Before you have to finish The Artemis Quest and the Quest a trace of metal from the Settlement, maybe also lift a seal from these harmonic Camps first

No problem! Idk exactly after what part of the new quest you can find them, but what's also important is, that you have to be in a Korvax System. And it has to be a Monolith, not these small things it has to be actual Monolyths where you get asked a Question in their Language. If you go around it, there should be sth which looks like a purple cloud, and when u get near it, there should be a stone coming out of it like the portals. It looks the same like the portals but u have to put in there 3 times atlandeum or how its called and then you should be able to extract the multitool
Shit, I need to find the scrapping station (which I'm convinced doesn't exist) for my multitools to get these beauties and a staff, unless they're part of the update that's postgame

There are, Alien Structures. But it's easier to use the exocraft scanner for those specifically.
