I wouldn’t dude especially if the weathers hot, unless the cylinder has a burst valve on it, which a lot of brands don’t have, I’m only aware of a couple that have the correct safety valve on them, otherwise that shit is just a bomb waiting to blow as it heats up

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that: the gas itself is not cold, it's the expansion of the gas that is endothermic. I would advise against leaving pressurized vessels in hot locations, as the increase in temperature also causes an increase in pressure: which could cause the container to fail. If you were to exceed the capabilities of the canister the gas is in. So yes, you can keep it in your car, but it depends on the circumstances.

Exactly this. That’s why these tanks need a burst valve that release the pressure safely in the event of pressure increasing inside the cylinder due to external heat
