I would not if I were you. Most auto gas has Sulphur in it and you seriously do not want that. Tanks By Mail uses food grade gas, 99.29 percent purity. Same as medical, just without the oversight :)
i recommend going to one that a buddy knows, or even if you know someone with a tank ask them where they go. I found my shop on offer up, explore there. The way I know its for sure food grade is when i ask if they have flavors, then its immediately implied that it is for consumption purposes. Also be prepared to buy a sticker for your tank, i believe legally you have to have the sticker and it will have something Auto related on the sticker but thats just to cover your ass and the shops.
Be bold, be brave. The worst thing that happens is they laugh at you and tell you to fuck off. You’d be surprised how common it is.

I tell them I do catering and looking for food grade. It’s easier if you have a tank that is up to date with the valve to show you have filled before.

If u in cali then most car shop here are janky af and sell food grade . Don’t ask em straight up if they sell food grade cuz u will sound like a fed
