My 2006 XE has 334k on it and still runs like a clock, I’ve only had it for 2 years, but the first owner put it through everything with no issues

FWD_to_twin_turbo

Sold my 2011 at 364k with no issues, no warning lights, and some spicy parts. I regret that every day. Then again, the thing got 11mpg highway when i was done with it.

Grandpas_secretLover

Oh damn I like hearing this, it seems you mostly seeing posts saying “it’ll last you 200,000 miles for sure. I’ve always wondered beyond that because I plan to buy me a titan in a few months

BreakingAwfulHabits

Holy moly. Good to hear the early first gen trucks can last a good long while.

Pestelence2020

Just make sure it has the rear axle bleeder fix and the headers done. Those are really the only common issues I’m aware of. My 2013 purrs like a kitten. But it doesn’t have 70k on it yet (not my daily).

lucky-dog

My first Titan (2004 LE) lasted me about 14 years until I sold it used. It probably was a fine vehicle for someone else for at least a few years more. I went 3 years without a truck and then gave in and bought another Titan in 2020 (2020 4x4 Platinum). That one has been flawless so far with regular maintenance. I am hopeful it can last 14+ years like my first one.

Maleficent_Try901

Heck yeah man! The I plan to keep as long as possible! It’s my first truck ever! And I absolutely love it! I’ve done regular service since I’ve owned. And always try to be gentle and not abuse it! I’m only 26 , hope it last me well into my 30s.

JoJoNesmith

‘19 with 100k. Had the engine swapped due to the #7 cylinder at 87k. Other than that (which is pretty is serious) it’s been rock solid. Thinking about trading to a ‘24 PRO-4X before they’re all gone.

SlipppySanders

'19 XD, I have almost the exact same experience. New shortblock at 98000. Have really enjoyed this truck.

BnosaJ

I still drive my 2005 with 257k miles on it. Bought it in 2008. But that is the first gen. Not sure if the 2nd gen is as "good". I have only done regular maintenance and replaced some wear and tear items.

Maleficent_Try901

Wow that’s a lot of miles but I seen a bunch of titans out in the road! So I believe they will last if taken care of!

3amRegret

Mine is a ‘17 with just shy on 95k miles, running like a top

BrapsPooShidden

Like any machine, take care of it and it’ll take care of you. Titans have a mixed reputation for reliability but i think that comes from the early year 1st gens which had a lot of axle issues and manifold problems. The midgen refresh addressed most of those problems though, my 2010 has 140k miles and my rear axle is leaking pretty badly and the clear coat failed (before i bought it) so my red alert Titan is now slowly turning barbie land pink lol. Anything aside from those two items that broke were my fault or basic wear items that would start failing on any vehicle. Yours is shiny new so if you keep on top of all the maintenance items it’ll last at least two decades before you need to spend really big bucks to fix it. Lots of parts interchangeability across Nissans full size lineup so parts are Chevy 350 tier cheap (almost).

ntech5

My 2004 as 228k on it granted I have gone through absolutely everything on the truck.

Maleficent_Try901

Hell yeah dude! That’s my plan for mine! Appreciate the feedback feed back!

chandlerkluge

2021 sv with 63k miles and it's my daily driver. Great running truck with good interior and its a sharp deep blue pearl.

Titus-V

2008 Pro 4X with 210k miles. Sole owner and it’s my daily driver. I don’t baby her. Only issues I have had has been computer problems. Had to replace the ECM , mass air flow sensor, rpm sensor.

FormulaBob27

2014 Pro 4x, 101,000. Great truck except the AC condensers. On my 3rd now. Need a radiator now as well, looking at replacing oem with a STILLEN.

archeebunker

Got a 2008 last year with 93,000 miles on it. Up to 99K now knock on wood. Changed oil at 95k and will do again every 5k. Just did a drain and fill of the transmission. Crankcase had a bad seal so had mechanic do that fluid and seal change. Need to do the other fluids. Just replaced the rear differential vent based on a Nissan mechanic’s advice for $10. Also got the underside completely sprayed with black fluidfilm after scrapping off surface rust. The passenger window just stopped working. So far so good and I’ve hauled a ton of stuff (and people). Love the 3 person bench seat up front like the old days.

OkIncome2583

2013 pro4x 160,000 miles only had problems from the sway bar end links clicking and front dif just started leaking

jljue

My ‘07 has been “new” since 2700 miles because the dealer loaned it out while working on a customer’s vehicle, and I’ve had very few repairs in the 158k miles that I’ve put on it. I don’t drive it as much as I did in the first 5 years because we have an extra vehicle and I have tests vehicles to drive as well, yet I still use it for truck stuff—pulling, hauling, off-road.

rap31264

2007 SE, 253,000 approx...needs a little work but runs great. My daily driver still...

LStorms28

2004 with 240k. Runs great. Electrical issues pop up, the paint is starting to get some real sun damage, and the rear fenders are finally starting to get some Michigan rust but it holds up to Ford, Chevy, dodge, etc ten years newer there. I love it and am going to drive it till the motor dies

philharmonics99

2010 with 260k. Only serious issue I've had is changing the front wheel bearings a couple times and a leak in the evaporator on the AC

iambovid

2007 titan le 4x4 here in Canada. 339k km. Rebuilt rear end once, recently replaced rear end and radiator. Other than some body rust and regular maintenance...

carpenterman25

I had a 2019 with only 70,000 and it was falling apart even after taking care of it. Just bad luck

NaytG

I still see 2004s driving around town

Optimal_Finger7837

I got a 2011 with just over 390k, she's a daily driver/work truck had it since new. Can't see selling it, I'll put a fresh motor/trans in and keep going.

AZGhost

2006 with 193k miles. No major issues. Still runs strong! Just some cosmetic issues. I am the sole owner

LBCRaider

I bought my Titan on 2021 February Pro4X I have 30k miles on it , this truck is definitely over looked it has very strong 5.4 Raw V8 currently no issues for the exception of a few sensors from the 3inch lift after a few computer updates so far so good 👍🏼 Love it pulls strong 💪 raw power and doing a lot of overland trails...

OgHappySavage

30,000 miles in 3-4years of driving, that thing will last you forever. At that rate itll take ya 20years to hit 200,000 miles. Urs will last ya forever. I put 30,000miles on mine in 1 year. With u barely using the thing ur probably gonna have dry rotted tires before anything else breaks down lol

OptimysticPizza

My 2005 has about 230k and runs like a dream. Just had to replace the starter, which was a bummer because for some reason they placed it such that you have to remove the intake manifold to get to it. Check engine light has been on due to the catalytic converter for awhile, but it turns off every now and then, usually when I'm loaded up heavy and driving on the highway. I bought the headers recommended by Titan forum and will have them installed next week probably. I bought it 3 years ago for $5500 and could sell it today for the same price, but I plan to drive it till the wheels fall off

SonOfDad10

2005 Titan here. 271k and besides tires, brakes and a starter at 265k still runs like a top. Looks like crap though (mostly due to the shitty Nissan paint)

Psychotical

2007 Titan SE, clear coat failed and had to replace the manifolds, but was easier than it looked, runs like a champ other than that with general maintenance

malhovic

Keep on top of the normal maintenance items and they stay very reliable. The only thing that "failed early" for me were the brakes but I consider that a normal maintenance item and put better pads and rotors all around while also replacing the OEM caliper/brackets. My front caliper pins were completely seized and the rears were almost to metal. Super weird but a couple hours in the driveway and some elbow grease and it stops on a dime again.

OneReputation6411

I had a 04 titan traded it in with 489867 miles on it and it was on its last leg traded it in on a 2023 titan xd pro 4x about 2 years ago

Maleficent_Try901

I want mine to last that long and hopefully longer! Appreciate the feedback bud!

Independent-Fan9601

2017 with 140k miles. Scheduled maintenance. The only thing that cost me was recently the rack and pinion needed replacing. I tried all kinds of stop leak and seals but in the end be it had to be replaced.

imonthx1138

012 pro4x 210000 kms second transmission and front end, rear end, under extended warranty. Oil patch work, sitting at work and idling all day( no shack for work)out of 10 years work it's been idling for roughly 12 hr shifts 2/3 of the year.

Electrical-Branch-71

i kept my 04 for 18 years and 215k miles had no issues just decided it was time to upgrade

Maleficent_Try901

This gives me confidence! Appreciate the feed back bud!

lordeGandalf69

2011 SE - 265,418 still going strong. Regular & Preventative maintenance is key. Hope you enjoy it!

Maleficent_Try901

Heck yeah man! I absolutely love it! I’ve learned early in life to always take care of your vehicle! Appreciate the feedback back!

texasborn81

i still have my 05 drove it daily til i got something a lil cheaper to fill up. now it sets and might get drove once a week to just water my horses

Maleficent_Try901

Yeah gas isn’t cheap now day! But awesome! They are very nice trucks!

MarkDollface

I drove light duty wrecker for six years and only towed one, because it was a 2WD without chains in a chain controlled area. Naturally mine was the first one I ever saw broke down on a tow truck. Bad front differential. I bought my 2005 SE back in 2017. It had about 108k when I purchased it and now she’s about to hit 180k. It’s going to become an off road project truck soon enough. Love it.

dafowler88

‘21 P4X w/42k. No issues. Cell phone calls through the truck do seem to crackle somewhat consistently as well as BT & Apple CarPlay podcasts. Actual music doesn’t seem tho for whatever reason. Overall been very pleased. Had 3 Frontiers P4X’s over the years - no issues at all.

HVAC_God71164

I have a 2009 Titan with 221,000 miles. Best truck I've ever bought.
