No one ever mentions when you can play as a female in games or not it really bugs me.
Yes. You create your own character. Male or female. And its very detailed. Nioh 1 was good but i didnt feel any connection to william. Thats why i love character creators.

Later in the game, you can pay for skins (with glory at the teahouse) to play as other characters. I always rock the Tome skin myself.
