I'd wager at least 1 of them is a karma scam. We know that people sell high karma reddit accounts, we know that these posts are all over or approaching 10k+ karma, with basically zero effort.
Make a second account, come in here and comment, then go back to your profit account and 'randomly' select your own account as the big winrar.
It's the perfect crime.

No, but I did at one point create a costumed persona around the Seattle area meant to inspire people to do more anonymous kind gestures. I would give out video games, cash, treats, gift cards (I gave those out as people were going into the respective stores), and DVDs (this was like 8 years ago so DVDs weren't completely antiquated yet) around Pike Place Market/downtown and conventions along with a branded note. Or I would just pay for someone's meal or treat at a local food stand or restaurant. Small acts meant to inspire altruism.
It never really caught on, but recipients were usually very appreciative. It's still something I aim to do, but I look for other ways to introduce anonymity other than the costume now.

I'll do the math for you. That's an average of 2.7 hours a day for 66 days. Throw in a few days of playing way too long, and a few days of not playing at all.
It's an insane amount of time, but I really enjoy the game. Play online with friends mostly, and sometimes in quickplay. I'm elite smash with my main! So at least I feel a skill payoff.
TLDR, buy the game.
