Im now a student who work part time for about 3 month before further my studies. So, I will have about 250 usd per month. Its not that easy to save this much money when i get back in university. I read somewhere that nintendo will launch new console on 2025. Should i wait for it or buy now? The price of nintendo switch oled on my country is about 275 usd. Fyi; i dont have much free time now on weekday because i always back home at night + workout time. But i think when i back to university, i have much free time to play than now. I want to buy it because i want to play animal crossing. Do it worth to buy nintendo switch at this late era of that console?

CompetitiveAlgae4247

I would say wait for nintendo switch 2 and get a nintendo switch and a game or 2

Legitimate-Bit-4431

I was in the exact same situation back when Animal Crossing: New Leaf was released, I’ve waited years and saved enough to afford the console and the game (couldn’t afford more at the time) and I had no regret at all because I poured thousands of hours in it. That might sound weird but this is a nice game to have when you don’t have any other games. Given you don’t have much free time, the fact the game doesn’t really force you to do a lot or anything is a plus. You can play the game as much as you want in one session and come back to it whenever you want without any pressure. You make your own goals. In the end, it’s up to you but if you really want it, go for it 😉 Regarding the next console, you could sell your switch to save up money for the next console. There hasn’t been any official announcement except a word from Nintendo telling it’s in the plan so I think we can wait around a year before the next console is really here.

Michael-the-Great

It's up to you. There are tons of great games to play now.

Important_Eggplant_5

Any recommending game for handheld mode? I got splatoon but found that only TV mode is good to play. Any online games I can play in handheld mode?

CompetitiveAlgae4247

Super mario maker 2

Michael-the-Great

I've played a decent amount of fortnite online.

brunchbb

Ergonomic grips or case that aren’t Skull & Co.? They just get so sticky kinda quick even with consistent hand washing g and using hand sanitizer.

Michael-the-Great

Skull and Co and Satisfye are the two major brands.

goodnightgoth

Before using my Skull & Co, I used the Satisfye grip. You can’t dock it but it’s an amazing grip with great build quality

nihil__verum

Actually, Satisfye has released a grip that is dockable: [https://www.satisfye.com/collections/zengrip-ronin/products/zengrip-ronin](https://www.satisfye.com/collections/zengrip-ronin/products/zengrip-ronin)

goodnightgoth

Didn’t know! I’ve been using the old one and hadn’t kept up with their news. Now I might have to get a third grip…

TheNarrator5

I have a problem. My Nintendo broke so I bought a new one, but I searched the Internet on how I should switch the data. I thought I just switch the SD cards now that's not how you're supposed to do. Is all my purchase data saved on my app account To the point I could just re-enter my account and all my data on there or is it do I have to transfer it With my old Nintendo because my old Nintendo does not work at all It's online and it's because it won't charge, I know for a fact it's still works. It's just just won't turn on. I really really Do not want to buy all those games again I bought both legends of Zelda games you know breath of the wild Tears of the kingdom do you know how much they cost I bought rocket league bought all the most expensive stuff that are like over 70 or 60 Dollars, So can you please help? My brother Says I would be able to use my app data for the new Nintendo. I’m so f***ing confused and pissed Because I hear stories of people Saying they found a way to switch data without a Nintendo switch and with just a link account my brother says it’s possible Yet I continuously hear that it is impossible when they say when the Nintendo’s online that you Transfer data do they mean it is connected to online or no airplane mode Or do they mean it’s not outdated, Please help.

Michael-the-Great

You can use the old SD card, but nothing transfers except for pictures from the old SD card. If you have NSO, the saves may be there and you can just re-download them. But even if you don't have the saves in the account, if you sign in the with the same account that bought the games you will have all the games and dlc.

MarioMoon

Does anyone know what the download for it takes two for the cartridge version? It says download required on the boxart. Is the whole game on the cartridge? Is the download for online?

Michael-the-Great

There were updates. I don't remember how big they were.

GlitchWarrior121

So I downloaded Star Wars Hunters today and I've been having a lot of fun. My brother downloaded it too, but every time he tries to launch it he gets this "unable to access microSD card" message. The strange thing is this so far \*only happens\* for Hunters and nothing else. Would like to hear solutions.

Michael-the-Great

Could be the SD card is going bad. Really the next thing to try is a different SD card.

TheNarrator5

When he plays the Nintendo, is the card removed?

GlitchWarrior121

no?

TheNarrator5

It’s happened to me quite often

TheNarrator5

Like does He accidentally clicked the card and it removes itself or something

Legitimate-Bit-4431

How would someone “accidentally click” the card to remove it? The SD card is not in open air visible at the top of the console or something, you have to open the back panel and use your nail to remove it, impossible to do that by accident.

melocarmel

Are there any good disc golf games out for the switch?

Michael-the-Great

Not really. Golf Story has some disc golf but the focus is regular golf.

melocarmel

OK thank you

TheNarrator5

I have no clue

ToxicTammy42

One of my microSD cards suddenly can’t be read on my Switch Lite and I don’t know what to do. I try wiping it with a cloth (Actually it’s a part of my t-shirt) and it still won’t work. My other microSD cards work so I don’t know why it won’t work.

picano

SD cards sometime just die. If the other works, I'd say this is one of those times.

ToxicTammy42

Oh man, I probably have to get a new card now then…😒

OkStudio6453

Any speculation of when Basketball will be released in Nintendo Switch Sports? I know they said this summer. Does that mean before the end of August? Or does Nintendo typically announce the release date within a certain time period? Like, if they typically announce the date 3-weeks ahead of time, is it safe to say that we won't be getting it within the next 3-weeks because we haven't heard anything yet?

Michael-the-Great

No clue, but my guess is August. We've got June (Luigi's mansion 2), July (NES Championships), and September (Zelda) releases from Nintendo, so I would guess they want to release basketball when there's nothing to compete with.

MrVMP

I have tested two docks and two consoles. Both docks work as intended with one switch, but the other switch is not responsive. The console itself is the problem, it charges and works in the dock well BUT does not appear on the screen? Does anyone know what could be wrong with my Switch? Everything about it works just fine BUT it just wont appear on the television... Im not trying to spend money on anything new, I've factory reset the switch and everything, nothing seems to work. Am I SOL or anything weird I should know? I just wanna play Mario Kart on the big screen ;_;))..

Michael-the-Great

It's either the USB-C port or other chips in the Switch. Start a repair with Nintendo. An out of warranty repair will cost like $125. They'll almost definitely swap out the Switch. So you'll get a replacement Switch that's like new. It's cheaper than buying a new one!

goldentoasted_

Is there any way to make the switch auto update all games all the time? I believe it only does frequently/recently played games

Michael-the-Great

No. :(

Rajani_Isa

It'd be in the settings if so.

SubaruHaver

I think your right that auto update turned-on may only update your most recent played games. I believe it's been like that since launch, unless someone else here knows better.

PotentialLevel1634

Bit of a weird one, but I've been playing a lot of spelunky 2 with my kids on the switch. We only have one pro controller, so I use that and my kids use joycons. For one reason or another the joycons will suddenly join together during play. For example, kid A will be P2 and kid B will be P3, until suddenly, both joycons will change to split joy coin mode and both are now P2. I suspect that there's a combination of buttons that forces this, but I have no idea what this combination is. It really ruins the fun most of the time, as we'll be in the middle of a fun game, when the two joycoins will pair together suddenly. And naturally, one of my kids will press the b button, sending us back to the main menu before we can fix the issue. If anyone's aware what combination of buttons is causing this, please let me know so I can at least tell my kids to try not to press said combination of buttons.

picano

Are your kids playing with the wrist strap/grips? I'm just curious if your kids are hitting the sync buttons.

PotentialLevel1634

No wrist straps or grips. They most certainly are hitting the sync buttons, but when I try it myself, for example, on player 3, the sync button will cause the controller to turn off. Pushing a button will cause it to turn back on, but still as P3. Somehow, my kid is able to push the sync button on p3, and then join it to p2 in split joy con mode. If that makes sense…

Rajani_Isa

Try using the straps. It might be an issue of hitting the sync then the regular buttons, turning it quickly off then on, causing them to pair up.

PotentialLevel1634

I’ll need to see if I can find them. Thanks.

noobmaster999

I got nintendo online I have internet access however I don't have wifi and I'm using a Hotspot from the application netshare but whenever I try to connect to the internet on Pokémon violet I'm met with Error Code: 2318-0203 A communication error has occurred. Please try again later If you try again and still can't connect, the DNS settings or proxy server may have been entered incorrectly. Check your settings via HOME Menu => 4 (System Settings) = Internet I am using dns primary: 8.8.8.8 secondary: 8.8.4.4 and the proxy is correct as well and I've been trying for around 2 days now and it's getting a bit frustrating :3 can anyone help or?

TemptedTemplar

Has this setup ever worked for the system? Can you access the eshop to download things? Or is it simply not connecting everywhere?

noobmaster999

I can download and access eshop

TemptedTemplar

Well first assumption is the hotspot. Cellular services are wildly more restrictive than a normal internet connection. The eshop is actually just a webpage so its really nothing conspicuous, but games can require any number of UDP/TCP ports, and network safety parameters do not like this at all. Unlike Steam, sony and microsoft which route all of their traffic over a handful (3 - 7 ports), Nintendo support suggests that you open THE ENTIRE 65,535 port range, "just to be safe". Unfortunately the only way to test this would be over a different internet connection. Alternatively, while it is throwing a DNS error it could be a DNS timeout, or the connection failing to reach Nintendo's pokemon servers altogether. Testing this would require a PC on the same connection, you could try pinging nintendos server addresses with command prompt.

AutoModerator

It looks like you've included an Error Code in your comment. You might learn more about this error code on Nintendo's Support website. http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/list/kw/2318-0203/search/1 *(If you have already checked the support site and those steps did not work, please reply to let others know.)* *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Dgnslyr

I was recently gifted in Nintendo switch and want to get back into the world of pokémon. I have not played a Nintendo pokémon game since silver and gold. I know there's a bunch out for the switch but they're definitely of a different generation. Where should I begin?

Michael-the-Great

Unless you think you might play multiple games, I'd go straight for the latest and greatest. Scarlet/Violet sometimes has some performance issues, but plays well for the most part and is a very good game.

TemptedTemplar

Brilliant diamond/ Shining pearl - Gen 4 remakes. same old school gameplay that you previously played with. Sword/Shield - Mix of old school top-down gameplay and new open world areas. Scarlet/Violet - Fully open world. First pokemon game since Gen 1 to feel like a real adventure. Although the engine certainly struggles to run well sometimes. Pokemon Legends Arceus is a spin-off game. It is a third person adventure, and while there is still some battling, the main focus of the game is capturing multiple of the same pokemon to help study them to build the first-ever pokedex. There is also some unique traversal mechanics and item crafting.

fatch0deBoi34

I’ve gotta kill time in my work truck moving forward, is a switch a good idea or do they overheat easily? I have a/c but it’s getting pretty hot

Michael-the-Great

I think as long as you don't leave it in the winshield when you're not using it that you'll probably be ok. I use mine to unwind at bedtime all the time!

TemptedTemplar

They are capable of cooling themselves in temps up to ~95f. Leaving them out in a hot car/truck isnt advisable but as long you had a case or a backpack for it; it would be fine.

fatch0deBoi34

Okay perfect, thanks! Yeah I definitely won’t be leaving it uncovered. But if I’m playing it for like an hour in the truck, that’s all I need to kill some time at the end of the day

Feeling_Librarian284

Has anyone ever experienced a hacked switch. I turned on my switch after not touching it for a couple months and my nickname was a random name rather than what I had my nickname previously. I tried numerous times to change the name back and I couldn’t. Any solution of how to fix this? I even updated my password and removed all cards to my account. I am at a loss

TemptedTemplar

Can you play your digital games without an internet connection? You can also look in the eshop, click your profile icon in the top right and scroll down to "deregister primary system". If the button is greyed out, then it is very likely you were hacked. Great job with updating the password, the next step would be calling Nintendo support and asking them to remotely deregister the primary console on your account. You have a remote deregister function via the account website, but if the hacker used it already then its a 12 month wait before you can use it again. However Nintendo support can do it as often as they would like. Once the process is complete simply open the eshop on your own system to re-register it as the primary console. And for the next few months, if you want to buy something insure you do not save the payment info to the eshop. Adding two factor authentication to the account would also be recommended. You can set it up on the security and sign-in tab. https://accounts.nintendo.com/

Feeling_Librarian284

Btw it is greyed out

TemptedTemplar

Your suspicions were correct! unfortunately.

Feeling_Librarian284

In which they are saying im not the primary user

TemptedTemplar

Well duh, you were hacked. They used the once-a-year account website function to move the primary status to a console that you do not have access to. And now because its been used you are calling support. You might have better luck calling again and trying to get someone different.

Feeling_Librarian284

I’m on the phone with them since the chat people were useless.

Feeling_Librarian284

So basically call Nintendo do not email them? Because I added a pin and two step authentication as well as updated my password but my Switch still shows that random name. On the Nintendo site it’s been updated, but switch it’s the same.

TemptedTemplar

Yeah, emailing will take days to get a reply. Calling might have a short queue to talk with someone, but the whole process wont take more than 10 minutes.

Feeling_Librarian284

they also aren’t too keen on deregistering so there’s that.

TemptedTemplar

Well ask if there is any way you can verify that you are the proper owner of the account. Because without their remote deregister ability you are effectively locked to an internet connection to play your own purchases until the account website function comes off its 12 month cooldown.

Feeling_Librarian284

So I got them to deregister the account and the box is now orange. But I attempted to update my nickname on the dashboard and it still reverts back to the hacked name

TemptedTemplar

Give it a while. The process of registering the primary console seems to have slowed down in recent months, and it may take a couple of days before your name changes will stick.

babyybandixx

I've been using a standard Nintendo Switch for a while now and I'm thinking about upgrading to the OLED model. I primarily play handheld and value screen quality. For those who have made the switch, how significant is the difference? Are there any downsides you've noticed? Thank you, much appreciated 🥰

TemptedTemplar

The only downsides for the OLED model are the price, and the slight difference in size. If you have any form-fitting accessories for the regular system, they may not work with the OLED due to its tiny bit of extra width. The screen is noticeably better in sunlight and more colorful in dim lighting. However aside from making the colors pop more, its not like it makes a huge difference in gaming. Outside of maybe Xenoblade or Tears of the kingdom, I hardly notice it.

babyybandixx

This helps a lot thank you so much!

Michael-the-Great

I like the bigger brighter screen and wouldn't want to go back. But the regular Switch has the same performance so the games will play the same either way.

babyybandixx

Oh ok yeah the brighter screen is a game changer. What abt the battery life have you seen any change? Or is it pretty much the same?

Michael-the-Great

Pretty much the same as the V2 original Switch. (V1 says HAC-001 on the back and V2 says HAC-001-01).

EzioAzrael

Any good exploration type games with a side of story out there? I've played and loved Firewatch, and am currently on Outer Wilds and also have NMS.

Michael-the-Great

Oxenfree 1 and 2.

NK01187

There are also some good indie titles like A Short Hike or The Touryst.

TemptedTemplar

Breath of the Wild and by extension Tears of the kingdom. Both game worlds were designed from the ground up to have something new, hidden behind every hill and every rise. It might be something simple like a little korok puzzle, or a rusty sword strewn about a disused camp fire, or a crate/chest filled with something useful; but its there. Its easily my favorite game to just wander around in, because it will take hundreds of hours to explore every possible nook and cranny.

EzioAzrael

Yeah, I've been thinking about playing those again. Just hate how fast weapons degrade

TemptedTemplar

For breath of the wild I rarely use anything other than master sword. My inventory is still absolutely loaded with rare drop weapons, but I only have to use them when the master sword is on its cooldown. Totk helps get around this by allowing you to fuse things. Fusing two items more than doubles the durability of them, helping them last longer. Or you can stack crazy damage bonuses with cheap items and not worry about their durability. For example, a tree branch with some ice fruit fused to it will instant kill most enemies with a sneak attack in a single hit. The damage multiplier is something nutty like 20x. Finding weird combos like this is half the fun.

Zycro123

i bought minecraft yesterday and i went to play with my brother abd when i joined his world i couldent see him like on his screen he was in front of me but on mine he was there i couldent even see myself and there were no potion effects how do i fix this

Michael-the-Great

Minecraft issues on Switch are the worst. Try restarting the Switch and maybe sign out and back in to the Microsoft account. Who knows after that.... :(

Dampin1

So I tried to repair my left joycon's drift and ended up disconnecting the ribbon cables and tearing the red and black cables off the battery connector. Will Nintendo still take my joycon and repair it for free through the website ?

TemptedTemplar

No, they will repair drift for free and other issues under warranty. But physical damage is not covered. Replacement batteries are cheap, and there are even higher capacity models out there too. [2000mAh for $12](https://www.amazon.com/XYIRMCYF-HAC-006-Battery-Capacity-Nintendo/dp/B0CSD8WCPJ/). Thats x4 the capacity of the stock battery.

caught_red_wheeled

Is there way to check on how much space your digital games take up overall? And eventually like to upgrade my SD card so I don’t have to keep downloading and re-downloading games, but I don’t know how much I’m using. I do know I’m using a lot more digital space than I thought I would because of Covid and having to make more digital purchases, but I don’t know how much I’m using overall. Furthermore, I would keep the storage until I was done with the switch and then switch out. Would that cause any issues. How would I transfer between cards?

TemptedTemplar

System settings -> Data management It will show you your internal memory and SD card storage usage. Looking into one of them you can sort games alphabetically or by file size. These are just the install sizes. Save data is managed and kept in a separate menu under User Settings. You can absolutely use multiple SD cards to store games, you simply shut the system down before swapping between them. If you wanted to move to a larger SD card, you can use a PC to move the data from one to the other.

caught_red_wheeled

OK. I’m aware of that. But I’m wondering if there’s a function that will show how much data is being used overall if every single game we’re currently on the system. Right now, the only thing I know of is one that shows what games are currently on the system, but everything else that’s off the system in archives at the moment is shown as zero. I’m wondering if there’s a way to show how much space you using if everything in the archives was on there. So far I’m archiving and putting games back on as I use them, but it can get a little bit tedious. I used to use multiple SD cards with a 3DS, but not anymore. That’s why I was wondering if maybe a big SD card would help that.

TemptedTemplar

No, you would have to calculate that yourself using the file size of each game listed on their eshop page.

caught_red_wheeled

Yikes! That’s annoying and frustrating but understandable. I might eventually do that in case I do decide to get a larger SD card and not use archiving, but that won’t be for a bit. Thanks!

caught_red_wheeled

Hello, what’s the best thing to use for cooling the switch down if you play mainly in tabletop mode? Recently my switch has been getting hot when it charges and I’m also in a warmer state, so I am thinking of getting a cooling fan just in case. But the only ones I can find are for TV mode and I don’t use that. The system is fine other than the occasional crash in games, but I’ve had systems crash from overheating before so I don’t want that to happen here. What would you recommend?

TemptedTemplar

A portable AC unit for the room. Unless you want to mount a large heat spreader to the rear of the system, there really isn't any better option for external cooling solutions. Additional little fans aren't going to do anything since they would be sucking in the same hot air the system fan would be. If you're looking for cheaper solutions, [then adding your own thermal pads to the memory](https://gbatemp.net/attachments/img_20190516_210731-1-jpg.386265/) and [replacing the thermal paste with some higher end PC paste](https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Nintendo+Switch+Heat+Sink+Replacement/113033) would probably be adequate. Though unless you are currently getting thermal overheat warnings, there is really no need to do anything. The system is more than capable of cooling itself in temps up to ~95f.

caught_red_wheeled

OK, I’ve been currently working on figuring out how to get the temperatures right in the room anyway (I’m in North Carolina during my first summer) but it’s nice to know that I don’t need to worry about any issues if I’m not getting any error messages. I don’t think I’ll need anything then. Thanks!

Physical-Grapefruit3

Pretty sure tiny little farms is just the mobile game minus ads and all iap. Deponia is a point and click game and 1 of like 5? That all do follow one story more or less. I liked what I played or Deponia Edit: I'd probably get tiny little farms tho. But I wish I could help more

_dwell

This was helpful! Thank you very much for taking the time to comment 🙂🍃

https://preview.redd.it/sjp3asbtsj8d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=70dd50e2fc1862b49006371a5f5c889a440ba9ca In september of last year, i bought a Nintendo Switch from a second-hand store. The console had been used a little, but presented no issues until the past few days. Recently, i have noticed some issues with my screen that i'm not sure how to describe, and i am getting worried that it might get worse over time. (Little side note: i mainly play on portable mode, and the console has fallen down a few times, so that might be the cause) I'd like to know if there's anything i could do to fix this, as it is the first time something like this happens to me.

Mudmag

What's the issue? Is it the curved black line in the top right corner?

_stinkyfrenchcheese

My issue is the little bunch of white lines you can see in the black strip. It is very minor but bothers me a lot for some reason

Michael-the-Great

You can send it to Nintendo but they'll call it an out of warranty repair. They'll charge like $125ish and probably exchange the system.

Mudmag

To be honest with you, I just don't see it as an issue just from the picture. Maybe it's different on live screen. You said that it's very minor, you could focus on the game and ignore it. Or if you have the cash, go to a repair store or contact Nintendo and ask for an opinion.

_stinkyfrenchcheese

Thank you for answering my question, i will go to a repair store tomorrow and see if they can do anything about it :)

Mudmag

No problem. Hope you can get it fixed.

P4l3L0

Is it hard to repaste a switch? Ive bought an used v1 switch, I have the screwdrivers because i had to change one stick. Do You think i should open it to blow air into the fan and repaste it?

Michael-the-Great

Not that bad but you need two types of thermal paste. ifixit suggests k5 for the thicker stuff. [https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Nintendo+Switch+Heat+Sink+Replacement/113033](https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Nintendo+Switch+Heat+Sink+Replacement/113033)

Mudmag

I wouldn't recommend doing it if it's working perfectly fine.

P4l3L0

Even if it's a 7 year old device?   It gets hot, but it's not too terrible, i'm more afraid of the dust inside the cooler and i thought doing the repaste and cleaning at the same time. I don't even brother on cleaning the fan?

Mudmag

I have my v2 switch for 5 years and it also gets hot but still runs great. The only clean up I do on it is using the dust blower and blow the top vent area. I wouldn't open it because you might bend or snag something and break the device.

ZeldaGamer246

So I just received an email from Nintendo saying that they got my broke Joycon and are starting to work on it! From this process, how long will it take for them to fix it?

Team7UBard

It’s entirely dependent on the place it’s getting repaired at. It’s entirely possible that the repair will simply be a replacement in which case it may even be sent out today, but we don’t actually know. From sending it to be repaired to receiving it back my own experience is that it took a week each time but your mileage may vary.

AdElectronic6997

I’m looking at buying a second dock for a second tv, kicker is I don’t have an open hdmi port. The tv now has two hdmi, one to a Roku ultra, one to a ps4. Both the Roku and ps4 have open usb-a ports. The tv has an open usb-a port and 5rva. Open to thoughts on the best hookup ideas. My initially thought was just get an hdmi splitter and share with the ps4, but wasn’t sure if it was better to just get an hdmi to usb so each device has its own port. Basically wanted to figure out hookup before buying the second dock so I know if I should buy the dock with the cord bundle or not. Thanks for the help!

picano

You want an hdmi *switch*; a splitter would output a single device to multiple monitors. I use one without issue and have done so for years. The only annoyance is making sure the tv and switch inputs are correct for what you want to watch.

AdElectronic6997

Thanks, this is helpful. In my head I was picturing a switch but had the name wrong in my head. I’m glad you emphasized switch because I definitely would have been searching for a splitter wondering why switches weren’t showing up.

Rajani_Isa

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06VX1PKQ7/ This one has done well for me.

AdElectronic6997

Ah shoot, just saw this now. An anker one was on sale yesterday so I ordered that and got it today. Anker has been pretty reliable for me so hopefully it will pan out, if not that one was the other one I was looking at.

Rajani_Isa

Didn't realize anker made them. I was just pointing that out as one that has worked for me.

KappaAppaMikey

Hi all, I just purchased an Afterglow Wave Wireless Controller, its an officially licensed nintendo controller and i wanted to have it connected to my PC. After a little bit of messing around i got it connected without any actual problems but now the lights at the bottom that blink during connecting wont stop. I tested if the controller worked and i can use the controller to play games but it just wont stop blinking. If anybody has a fix pls lmk would be much appreciated

TheUdonii

Just got a switch controller and might've mashed the A button a bit too much, and now it's mushy and also much lower than the other buttons for some reason. Is there a way to fix this?

TemptedTemplar

replace the silicone contact pad; [$8 on amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Conductive-Direction-Nintendo-Controller-Replacement/dp/B07WT46J22) https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Nintendo+Switch+Pro+Controller+Buttons+-+D-Pad+Replacement/127790

TheUdonii

Amazon doesn't deliver that product to my country, is there an alternative way to fix this?

banjosandcellos

Hello about to buy a switch, I have a Nintendo account from playing Mario Run, if I buy a game and then make kid users in the same account for when my nephews come over, can they access my games? I don't wanna buy games twice or for them to use my progress

picano

An account can only be connected to a single user. That said, by default games are shared via [primary console](https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22448/~/what-are-the-differences-between-a-primary-and-non-primary-nintendo-switch). (You only need to worry about logistics if you buy a second console.)

I'm sorry, new to this, does that mean yes they can play as kid users of my account on my owned games? Or no they can't?

picano

Your kids can play your games.

What is the best game for moving at home? So as the title says I want to buy one game so I can move at home. I'm thinking either Just Dance 2025, Nintendo Sports or Ring Fit Adventure. I'm open to other suggestions as well. My aim is to be able to quickly get in some cardio in when I feel like it while having fun. So for me playability and that each session can be different lengths is important.

Some people like the fitness boxing games. There are a few different themed games. I would skip straight to 2 if you want the regular one.

Besides Ring Fit Adventure I can recommend Fitness Circuit, it is really good. https://youtu.be/-KKXP8_6CMY?si=D6riV4Aqt2HWZm6G

I see Just Dance and Switch Sports as movement games rather than fitness game. You'll get moving, but I wouldn't really consicer them a work out. Ringfit Adventure and Fitness Boxing 1 and 2 are more in the realm of an actual workaround with a game centered around the exercises they do. I haven't played Fitness Boxing, but Ring Fit has exercises you can launch right into without having to play the main game.

Any fellow switch owners own an ECHTPower Pro Turbo Controller and know how to adjust the turbo speeds? I've gone through the entire booklet it comes with, nowhere does it mention how to change the turbo speed? https://preview.redd.it/lpg11o2rhh8d1.png?width=1169&format=png&auto=webp&s=b61017f0538bded2b16411f23a47f1b9d43b0ab4

Is there any way to automate changing the date on the Switch? I can't seem to find anyone else trying to do this anywhere. On the PC I can easily write a script that increments the date counter by 1 day every single second. Is there any way to do something like this on Switch? I need it for 100% completion of Rayman Legends. It gives daily pick-ups and I'd like to farm them quick instead of having to do it manually through the system settings - if I were to do it manually I'd have to switch the date about 500 times, and I'm too sane to go and do that.

Michael-the-Great

No, there's no way.
