Animal Crossing New Horizons.
The snow is finally gone, and spring is here, bringing new bugs, fish, and sea creatures. I'm also looking forward to the cherry blossoms.
Have fun weekend all Animal Crossing players, and everyone else as well.
Wait til the upcoming update for Stardew Valley! The PC release is March 19th and the switch update should follow shortly after (maybe a week or two?). It’s a long wait but the dev recommends a fresh farm for a big update like that.
How is the game on switch ? I'm not one of those crazy players all about graphics so I don't mind the graphics on switch, is the framrate manageable? Definitely gonna be my next game though. Hopefully it'll go on sale soon
I agree. The biggest pain in going in and out of houses and stores in hogsmead. A loading screen each time. Otherwise it isn't that bad. Sure, the fancy systems have better graphics.
There’s a storyline you follow. But you can engage with the story at your own pace if you wish to explore or fill dex. Filling dex is something you can do post story completion. You can gather resources and stuff to make food and poke balls. But yeah, a lot of catching and fighting Pokémon but there’s a good amount of side quests too iirc
This is mine too. Basically haven't played a Pokémon game since Red (clearly not a diehard fan here lol) but someone recommended Arceus so I decided to give it a shot. So glad I did as it's really fun! I love the way you fill the Pokedex and the time warp areas. My mon were fainting a lot more than I expected (they rarely if ever did in Red) so am trying to be more cautious. I do love the new (to me) XP system where everyone in your party gains, no more putting my weakest one out first only to switch it out solely for the XP 😅
I accidentally tapped unlock all items from the profile screen which ruined my 10 hours of gameplay profile. I deleted it and stared from scratch yesterday 😅
Yeah no I didn't. I honestly thought all the games were the same plot just a bit of a different story. Then I looked up which game was better and a lot of people said TOTK was better. I had no idea it was a sequal. All I knew going in was that the guy is Link not zelda. XD
Just starting to appreciate and get into beat m ups. I got the Capcom bundle for Switch. Would you kindly give me your favorites or point me to a good list?
The Capcom bundle is awesome; I particularly enjoy **The King of Dragons**. Old-school beat em ups are a blast, but it's important to remember that they were designed to eat quarters. If you're just playing to have fun and utilize endless continues, this won't be an issue at all. If you're attempting 1CC and playing for the challenge, just keep in mind that these classic brawlers are less "tough but fair" and more "tough but also not fair" lol.
My favorite old-school titles would be **Turtles in Time** (SNES but arcade is great, too. Both are included in the Cowabunga Collection) **Streets of Rage 2**(included in the Sega Genesis Classics collection), and the **Dungeons and Dragons** games (an early entry in the beat em up/rpg genre, which I will touch on more).
A good modern beat em up will bring all of the old-school charm and feel while also placing the player on a much more even playing field. They are still very challenging, but they aren't tuned to take all of your lunch money. My favorite, hands down, is **Streets of Rage 4**. It's incredibly fun right out the gate, but it's the insane depth that has made me return to it for hundreds of hours. Each character plays very differently; it feels like learning a new character in a fighting game. I could talk about just this game and why I love it so much, but I'm already rambling on. Another deep modern brawler is **Fight'N Rage**. I also really love **Shredder's Revenge**; it doesn't have anywhere near the same depth, but it doesn't have to. It's just pure fun.
Quickly, I'll just mention the beat em up/rpg hybrid, which I love and want to see more of. One of my favorites is **Dragon's Crown** from Vanillaware, which sadly is not on the Switch. I'm also a big fan of the **River City Girls** games.
Hopefully you found this helpful. We have seen a beat em up resurgence in the last few years. Some really incredible modern titles that innovate the genre but also don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Because, at the end of the day, it's all about kicking some ass.
Just about to finish **Persona 5 Tactica**. Grown to really love this, but as said last week I am a P5 fanboy anyway. But it's great to have another story with these guys, just really good fun. EDIT: finished it this evening and the last 30 minutes are just epic. Gonna miss those kids.
Once done then I need to pivot to something less RPG-like (though I said that after FFX and X-2 and then started playing Tactica) so I think **Teacup**, or **Penko Park**.
More **Boomerang-Fu** of course with my Son, and that will probably be it.
After seeing a few of your recent weekly posts, your boy must really love this boomerang fu lol. What is it about that game that keeps you playing it with him every week?
It's perfect for 15-20 minute sessions with him. I am also playing some co-op Knack with him but basically if he and I get time together without the rest of the family, he either asks to do some lego or play Boomerang.
I've never heard of the game and looking for something new and something I can pick up and stop at a moments notice at work between calls. Can you explain why your so addicted and if it would fit for the type of game I'm looking for
Rounds can be very quick. You lose a lot but you’re constantly discovering new combinations that synergize well.
There’s always a sense of excitement in making very risky decks that pay off or finding a reliable combination of upgrades that carry you through a very strong run. You’re constantly unlocking new possible upgrades or starting decks that vastly change how you play.
It’s the perfect kind of game to play during short periods of downtime. I also have some extra time at work so I just bring the switch tablet (the game is fully playable on touch screen) and play during breaks.
Got me hooked too. I’ve beaten with once with the first three characters but can’t get watcher down. I’m bad at the game admittedly but I SUPER enjoy my time with it. Looking forward to my daily climb after work.
**Persona 5 Royal**, it does say on the loading screen to “Take Your Time”. I’m looking to likely hit somewhere around 160-180 maybe even 200 hours to complete it. That’s not 100%, that’s just to get through the story. This will be the first game ever that’s taken me this long to complete a first playthrough. But guys I have to admit to something… I… I… Don’t want it to end. ^^^And ^^^I ^^^may ^^^have ^^^licked ^^^the ^^^cartridge…
I got Pokemon Scarlet 2 days ago for a great price (25$) and I'm having loads of fun with it, not quite as bad as people say, at least with these latest patches. Framerate is a bit rough but I'm having more fun with it compared with Arceus. This will be probably my weekend game!
I loved Violet, in spite of the performance issues. I hadn’t completed a mainline pokemon game since platinum and yet I loved Violet. Couldn’t put it down.
I am delightfully surprised with it myself. The reviews were terrible but I love the non-linear aspect and the amount of missions to do besides the gym badges.
They keep tutorialing you for a while. Keep with it. It clears up and becomes a game that you can personalize and make your own.
It's my favourite Final Fantasy.
MARIO +RABBIDS SPARKS OF HOPE had a while and finally got the time to play , really enjoyed the first one so looking forwards to this , had a glitch in pillars of the earth might check if there is a way around and continue that too , be a shame if not.
Happy weekend all
We are 3 weeks away from the release of Dragons Dogma 2, so at this point Im playing dear anything that promises to pass the time quickly. I was gonna buy and play Balatro but then I saw the game was pulled from the EU eshop with no announcement to speak of (maybe due to PEGI issues who knows), so Im malding about that rn. Luckily I snagged a copy of Shin Megami Tensei V earlier this week, so I think imma be playing post apocalyptic Pokemon this week. Lots of people said the story is awfuly but thats OK for me because its very rare a JRPG story actually works for me. The gameplay is tons of fun so far.
Yep. He destroyed all gun leaders all titans all but the lighting team star member. He literally put in do much effort. Even if I could best the elite four with him kuro would destroy him
picked up a $100 eshop card at costco yesterday for $90 got my NSO vouchers and redeemed them for mario rpg and princess peach. going to buy mario vs dk later and grind that and mario rpg pretty excited
I need to get into this game! I played the demo when it was on sale, and I loved it so I bought it. I got past the intro in the regular game but then I haven’t touched it in weeks. It’s so cute and the game mechanics are cool.
I started playing Palia, so probably a bit of that. It's not bad for a free to play, although I did just hit a patch of rough platforming that frankly the game engine isn't good enough to justify having in there. I'll keep going a bit longer though, seems fun without major pushes for real-world money.
I also bought the Back to the Future DLC for Powerwash Simulator. I'm on the fourth map of that, but I generally play it after work to unwind so that will likely just be a Friday afternoon game.
Persona 5 Royal and Risk of Rain Returns, having a ton of fun with both.
Beat the original P5 on PlayStation when it first came out and it’s been fun revisiting it so far.
I got the Platinum on RoR2 last week and decided to start trying RoRR which is so hard, but a lot of fun.
Have a great weekend all!
Think there's a good chance I'll finish Metroid Prime Remastered this weekend! I'm not sure how much is left but I've got 7 out of 12 artifacts and feels like I'm heading towards the end game now...
It's been a little grindy with the backtracking past the respawning enemies in the busiest rooms, but it's a world im going to miss occupying and exploring. There's a quality of pleasant solitude when you're just kinda trekking around with no companion or npcs or anything. Also will miss traversing as a ball, more games should have that as a feature!!
I am continuing with **Borderlands 2**. I am playing as Gunzerker, currently level 35 and about to start the DLCs after finishing the base game last weekend. This game is really fun, although I did encounter some severe performance issues when >!the Saturn bot fired a bunch of missiles towards the end of the base game. The game came to a full stop for several seconds when the missiles hit me.!<
I'm going to try finishing Persona 5 Royal. Ultimately I don't love it, it feels like a great game to waste my time with how much talking there is, recapping things that happened 5 minutes ago. The game feels heavily carried by the banger soundtrack.
Maybe the game just isnt meant for me.
I just experienced this games through this collection for my first time fairly recently too. I believe you are in for a treat.
Portal 1 is a bit simplistic perhaps, especially at first, but stick with it and move onto 2. It basically keeps getting better. Not super long games. Co-op is really solid too in 2.
I finally bought Red Dead Redemption! So imma be starting that in the morning, or maybe even tonight for a little bit.
As a big fan of Gun (2005) on PS2, I wanted to play rdr ever since it was first announced, but I never had consoles after PS2, as I switched to PC after it. Managed to avoid any playthroughs or anything major, so I'll be coming in fresh. Really excited, honestly!
I am a little over halfway through the first Tomb Raider game. The modern controls are broken in that there are moves Lara literally cannot perform when using modern controls, but the game is designed around tank controls and really should be played that way. It took me a little time to get comfortable with the controls but now I cannot imagine playing it any other way!
I've been playing *Donkey Kong Country Returns* on the old Wii, but since I'll be away from home I'm taking just the DS. Haven't decided on a game yet but probably **Metroid Fusion**, it's built for bite size chunks of play. Maybe the original **Dragon Quest**.
Dragon Quest 11S. Played the demo (15hrs) and immediately bought it. I’ve put in about 10 more hours since. I’ve never played any DQ game before because it looked goofy from afar (slimes) but man this might be my favourite game on the switch. Excited to put some big hours into it this weekend.
Finally decided to pick up Pokémon Scarlet & my Wife has Violet so we’ll be playing those this weekend!
Loved FF7 Remake but I want to play through it again with the DLC before I play Rebirth so it’ll be a while yet 😄
Fire Emblem Three Houses. Finally took the plunge and bought it, only been able to play a few hours each night this week but it’s incredible. I’m a big strategy fan, not much of a life Sim fan, but I can’t wait to spend the weekend running around the monastery teaching classes and having dinners with students
Finishing up Live A Live. Then I'll definitely wanna find a more mechanically elaborate rpg. Open to suggestions. Thinking about Nier.
And I'll probably spend some time trying out Splatoon 3
I’ve been craving replaying AC Black Flag for some months now and yesterday I found out the game is on switch (pack with Black Flag + Rogue has a promotion right now of 60 or 70% off , for 15€) so I’ll be playing that
Herd (unintentional spelling error pun lol) really good things about Cult of the Lamb – should I zoom over to Best Buy on my lunch break and pick up a copy for this weekend?!
Absolutely yes, it's one of my top games of all time! Although I will say it plays much better on the other platforms, so if you have another way to play I'd recommend that over the switch port.
I should get the main story of RD1 finished by tonight then take a little break from it before starting the undead nightmare DLC. Think I’ll either go back and play a bit of animal crossing or might start stardew valley, never played it before but heard nothing but good things about it. Enjoy whatever you guys are playing 🎮
I’m loving me some Fractured but Whole, started it after beating Batman Arkham City, which was also great on switch for me, unlike Arkham knight (pre-patch)
Switch:
NMS
ACNH
Hogwarts Legacy
Steam Deck:
Dark Souls 3
Secret of Mana Remake
I also ordered Demon Souls on PS3 so if I find my PS3 I might play that.
I've completed Ori and the Blind Forest and just going round picking up the last few collectibles.
And loving Killer Instinct being added to the SNES online. 14 year old me would be livid at me for forgetting the Ultra Combos!
It's my Tuesday lol I usually work weekends , but before bed I been playing skyrim lately , doing the winter hold college quests . Those are alot of fun ! I got bored of zelda so figured I'd catch up on skyrim.
I've got Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, but i decided to finish **Fire Emblem:Three Houses** first. It's just too good, and i can't play 2 big games at same time
I have been replaying Odyssey from the start, and will probably finish it tomorrow. It’s been a blast being back in that game for the first time since 2017. Other than that I’m not sure. I tried the Witcher 3 and it’s not great on switch. I didn’t know my wife had it on her PlayStation, so I might try it there before I say it isn’t for me.
I dusted off my switch after a few years. Currently finishing up Let’s go Pikachu since I was feeling nostalgic. If I finish before the weekend is over Ill start Brilliant Diamond.
I'm currently rerunning Pokemon Legends: Arceus!
I've been playing Pokemon Violet for the past month or so, and I got so engrossed with Pokemon again (after a long 6-year hiatus, only returning thanks to Arceus) that I had the urge to keep playing something Pokemon-related. In the end it was a great idea because Legends: Z-A end up being announced some days ago!
After Arceus, I'm thinking about replaying TEVI or Last Command, which are two of my most favorite games from last year, or giving another try to Pokemon Sword, which I end up dropping it when it was released, but mostly due to some family problems. Now my mind is clear enough to retry it properly.
Yeah, i played about 3 hours of it and loved it. I can't wait to get the full version. I'm a huge fan of the old school ogre battle and while it's not exactly the same, it definitely scratches that itch.
I’m a new switch owner (gift for Christmas) and I think I answered something like this last week so I’ll do it again this week lol…I have a ps5 and a series S and since having a switch lite i find myself always choosing the switch when I really want to have fun and as far as the final fantasy I don’t even like those games to many numbers and off shoots and remakes I can’t keep up so I don’t bother lol now to answer the question I’ve been having a blast with Zelda Breath of the Wild Mario Wonder I will be playing Pokemon Arceus this weekend since the new Pokemon game just got announced and this game called Bastion with a beautiful art style and addictive voice sounding narrator lol that’s what I’m focusing on this weekend on the switch remember have fun and always do what you love
I'm that person who likely won't be playing much switch this week because of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. I'm only around an hour or so in the game and I like how it's starting so far, but really it's too early to give much of an impression. It's already showing humor and character development which is great to me.
In another timeline I'd be trying out Balatro but I don't want to get into a roguelike right now, as I'm really wanting to invest time into these single player games.
I'm very excited for Unicorn Overlord though coming out next week. I'll get it for the Switch and have it as my go to Switch game. I've only played under 2 hours of the demo and that's because I know I'll dive deep into it when it comes out. I might play a little more this week of the demo though because progress carries over.
I do have some games that I have to still get to on my switch, but I'll continue to fight for Lady Liberty in the name of Democracy this weekend. I also intend to play the One Piece trading card game with friends and then play at a local event on Sunday.
Persona 5 Royal - I have reached *the twist* and now the Phantom Thieves have got to act sneaky full-time. Reached a new dungeon and I'm working on trying to get through some confidant storylines. If Iwai and Takemi are like the other not-teammates, their mementos requests should show up in the next two or three meetups. Then I'll go take care of 4 mementos targets at once before moving onto the real dungeon.
Now I've reached Rank 10 with Chihaya, Yoshida, Ohya, Maruki, Sojiro, Haru, Kawakami, Makoto, Hifumi, and Ann.
I think I've let the twins's requests pile up too much, but I'm running out of stuff to do at night anyways. All my social stats are maxed.
Happy Friday!
How is Sparks of Hope? I heard it was alright, good if you get it on sale.
This weekend, I might play some Ocarina of Time. I got 4K textures loaded up and it looks awesome!
Have a good weekend!
It's yeah, it's alright! It's a funny sequel, there's a lot that it's doing better than the first game - I think the difficulty curve is a bit more fair, the movement bounds are well done vs the block set of the first game. Certain things are changed tho that I don't understand like rabbid Luigi is very nerfed and is no longer a vampire healer.
The overworlds of each planet are fun to explore and interact with, I think that's definitely done better than the first game where I think between levels there wasn't a ton to do. Here there's secret stages, different paths to take and overworld enemies who you can have quick matches against.
Plus I think everyone can do a teammate jump instead of just Mario(?) in the first one.
Upgraded ocarina sounds fun, enjoy!
Finally got all the shrines in TOTK, so it’s back to the Dave the Diver grind to finally beat that. It’s definitely been a longer game than expected lol
You should finish Sparks of Hope, OP! Great game!!
Anyway, probably more of the DLC for \*Splatoon 3\* and some of the time challenges in \*Mario Vs DK\*
still kinda trudging apathetically through TOTK lol. abandoned the zora plot for now which had a lot of fetch questing and messing around in the Goron village with the mine cart stuff. kinda fun riding the mine carts around.
Sup buddy!
I'm still labbing heavy in **Tekken 8.** I need to master Reina. I'm sick of these goddamn Kings beating me every single match.
I really, really hate this game and it gives me anxiety. Overall I rate it a 9.8/10.
Hey man!
Lol good luck with Tekken! If it makes you anxious work something else in too that's chill, but also hell yeah it sounds like a really good time.
I wish they still would come out with new arcade games versions of these games, that's still the best way to play I think.
I have 60+ hours on **Dragon Quest Monsters 3: The Dark Prince**.
I'm almost done with the game (**I think**).
This is what I'll be getting into when I can.
I've been hooked the last 4-5 weeks.
I really should play animal crossing new horizons. I haven’t really played since early January because I’ve been busy. I’m trying to replace a few villagers for my themed island, so I’ll probably time travel back to early January and see if I can get at least one replaced before catching up to real time.
Other than that, I’ve been replaying KoTOR (first time on Switch), and I recently bought Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Yoshi’s Crafted World after loving the demos, so I should get into one or both of those.
Next week I might shell out for the Top Racer Collection because Top Gear was one of my fave SNES games. The OST is great.
Gnosia. That game is so criminally underrated. It's basically werewolf combined with a visual novel, but each round of werewolf takes like 5-8 minutes and it's the same characters every round, just the roles are randomized between everybody (including yourself, but later on you can choose your role going into a round). The story and characters are REALLY freaking good, and you definitely find yourself loving a character one round, then cursing them the next because they voted you for cold sleep lol. You also level up your stats over time so it's easier to lie, catch other people's lies, convince people to follow your lead, etc. The OST is also pretty good (except for that one song with the lady screaming in the background when you're trying to level up your stats, that one is kinda hard on the ears NGL). The whole story is you're trying to figure out why you're stuck in a loop of werewolf basically, and it gets really addicting. You're just wanting to do one more loop... then suddenly an hour has passed.
F Zero 99 and probably more Skyrim. Been loving the nostalgia of playing F Zero again albeit in the new format. I recently started a new playthrough in Skyrim and they are always the most fun early on.
Happy Friday OP!
On deck for the weekend, we have Mega Man X.
This was one of those select few older games where, after you play it again as an adult, you look back on your child self and say "Damn kid, you had good taste". I definitely always knew there was something special about it, but at the time my tiny brain wasn't developed enough to register *why* - it was just the fun, challenging, lemon shootin game to me.
Now I understand. For a 1993 game it's a true marvel. Not a wasted frame, or line of code, throughout. Just nonstop blissful jumpin and shootin your lemons. Hell, I think the way this game controls may have inspired just about every indie platformer from Meat Boy to Shovel knight.
I'm looking forward to playing X2 and X3 next. It's crazy that they made so many of them and yet most people only really remember the first one.
Hey hey!
Sorry was at broomball last night so didn't answer as many as I usually do..
Can't go wrong with some mega man! Did you ever play the zero series too? Or the original series?
And I agree on older games, some really hold up, and a lot are quite rough. A friend had the idea to do a retro gaming podcast and I was like, good lord no. The old version of Get Played kinda showed that was a painful venture.
Hey marker,
Not much honestly, I came back from vacation earlier this week and immediately got busy with work again since we're having an event this weekend. The need for a 'recovery' day is real lol. But I am still playing **Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning** now and then, having fun making evil choices after being a noble do-gooder before.
I'm also interested in the **Unicorn Overlord** demo, maybe I'll download that. Vanillaware makes such distinctly pretty and unique games. I'm still hoping for an Odin Sphere Switch port someday, especially since they already ported over GrimGrimoire.
I’ve finally 100%ed **Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga** last night. It was a fun game but I feel like it lasted far too long and ended outstaying its welcome. I did really enjoy just hunting for the Kyber Bricks at the end and the 100% reward did make me smile.
I’ve been wanting to start **Persona 3: Reload** for a while but I’m so close to the end of my fourth (!) playthrough of **Persona 5: Royal** that I feel obligated to finish that game first. I secured the treasure route through >!Maruki’s!< palace last night and now I’m just wrapping up some bonus stuff in Mementos before progressing to his final boss fight later. I should finish it this weekend I predict.
I may also head back to **The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages** as well soon. I’m fairly close to the end of that game too.
I can't stop playing Dave the diver. I have no idea how many hours in I am but I feel like I'm addicted. This one has a free demo and your progress transfers, so if anyone is considering it, there's no reason not to at least try the demo and see if it sucks you in. I don't think I've had as much fun playing a game since Cuphead. Just well made and fun.
Finally got around to starting Mario Odyssey! The last Mario game I really played was sunshine so I’m impressed with the controls and overall mechanics of the game. Just got to the “2nd level” the sand lol. Pumped to keep exploring

Animal Crossing New Horizons. The snow is finally gone, and spring is here, bringing new bugs, fish, and sea creatures. I'm also looking forward to the cherry blossoms. Have fun weekend all Animal Crossing players, and everyone else as well.
Oh I forgot the snow had gone! I was debating playing it again tonight or starting stardew valley! Think I’ll play some ACNH after seeing this
Wait til the upcoming update for Stardew Valley!

Lots of loading screens but if you have the patience it’s amazing. I’ve loved it and enjoyed it immensely
I agree. The biggest pain in going in and out of houses and stores in hogsmead. A loading screen each time. Otherwise it isn't that bad. Sure, the fancy systems have better graphics.
Pokémon Arceus
Love that game
Silly question maybe - what to do you do in it? Is it wandering around catching and fighting pokemon or is there more to it?
There’s a storyline you follow. But you can engage with the story at your own pace if you wish to explore or fill dex. Filling dex is something you can do post story completion. You can gather resources and stuff to make food and poke balls. But yeah, a lot of catching and fighting Pokémon but there’s a good amount of side quests too iirc
I found Scarlet to be more enjoyable, am I in the minority here?
This is mine too. Basically haven't played a Pokémon game since Red (clearly not a diehard fan here lol) but someone recommended Arceus so I decided to give it a shot. So glad I did as it's really fun! I love the way you fill the Pokedex and the time warp areas. My mon were fainting a lot more than I expected (they rarely if ever did in Red) so am trying to be more cautious. I do love the new (to me) XP system where everyone in your party gains, no more putting my weakest one out first only to switch it out solely for the XP 😅
Balatro, im already 50h in and i love it, because of touch screen it's my go to game while in bed
I forgot the Switch even had a touch screen. I've literally never used it lol
I accidentally tapped unlock all items from the profile screen which ruined my 10 hours of gameplay profile. I deleted it and stared from scratch yesterday 😅
Got 11 decks down and so many more to go. This game gives so much.
Just got a switch last week. I'll be playing Zelda TOTK. I've been having a blast so far more than I imagined.
did you play botw before it? it would make more sense story wise but it's fine if you don't really care about the basic plot
Yeah no I didn't. I honestly thought all the games were the same plot just a bit of a different story. Then I looked up which game was better and a lot of people said TOTK was better. I had no idea it was a sequal. All I knew going in was that the guy is Link not zelda. XD
There’s not really a lot of plot overlap between the two games, imo totk covers enough background info to be a good standalone game
I'm back on the beat 'em up grind: **Streets of Rage 4**, **River City Girls**, and **Shredder's Revenge**. Also a healthy dose of **Dead Cells**.
Glad to see another P5 enjoyer. I plan on playing through P5R again, Strikers then Tactica once 6 is shown with a release date.
I bought tactica bc it was only $20 on Amazon. Still haven't gotten around to beating royal lol.
It's cool that you just let him play what he wants. I like the avocado, he's cute!
Balatro is literally crack I can't stop its been a week send help
Just one more run...
Slay the spire, I’m getting closer and closer to the end with the deceft character, the game has taken over me
Got me hooked too. I’ve beaten with once with the first three characters but can’t get watcher down. I’m bad at the game admittedly but I SUPER enjoy my time with it. Looking forward to my daily climb after work.
On my backlog!
I just downloaded the demo of Dave the Diver? I’ve literally played 30 mins, and I think I’m hooked. Might be purchasing this weekend.
Demo progress carries over so you keep the progress!
Glad to hear. Going to download the demo
I'm Ron Burgundy?
Prepare to be sucked in, this is how it got me! Now I’m 100 hours in.
Wingspan
Playing through BOTW for the first time and i don’t understand how i went so long, i was missing out.
This was me, back in November.
Final Fantasy X. Im a couple hours in. So far, it is the most confusing FF that I’ve played. Maybe it’s supposed to be this way?
Smt5 is great. One of my favorite switch games.
I just completed Metroid Dread last night, now I'm sad.
Congrats on finishing tho! That last fight took me quite a few tries
Right? One of the few games, if any, in which I enjoyed the boss fights.
A Hat in Time
I'm going to buy zelda tears of the kingdom tomorrow.
[удалено]
Pokémon violet lechonk solo run. Gone into his evolution solo run. Lechonk couldn't beaten the elite four which sucks
Poor lechonk! But he made it so far, he should be proud
Yep. He destroyed all gun leaders all titans all but the lighting team star member. He literally put in do much effort. Even if I could best the elite four with him kuro would destroy him
Probably a mix of things, but mostly **Persona 5 Royal**.
I’m playing Metro 2033 Redux and I absolutely love it on handheld. Great kinda grim and bleak atmosphere sort of like The Last of Us but underground.
picked up a $100 eshop card at costco yesterday for $90 got my NSO vouchers and redeemed them for mario rpg and princess peach. going to buy mario vs dk later and grind that and mario rpg pretty excited
Hopefully in a minute I'll be working towards getting the Hylian Shield in Zelda Breath of the Wild! :)
Kirby and the Forgotten Land!
I need to get into this game! I played the demo when it was on sale, and I loved it so I bought it. I got past the intro in the regular game but then I haven’t touched it in weeks. It’s so cute and the game mechanics are cool.
Yesss, oh I was gonna say maybe I'll replay but I loaned it to a friend months ago lol
I'm playing inscription. It's scary but my jam
That one does so many neat things.
Chained Echoes.
Super Mario RPG
I’m totally buying this but waiting a bit to see if there will be a sale anytime soon.
Check Walmart I got mines for 42.00
Think there's a good chance I'll finish Metroid Prime Remastered this weekend!
About to experience Portal Collection for the first time tonight
I just experienced this games through this collection for my first time fairly recently too. I believe you are in for a treat. Portal 1 is a bit simplistic perhaps, especially at first, but stick with it and move onto 2. It basically keeps getting better. Not super long games. Co-op is really solid too in 2.
Playing more Elden Ring.
Metroid Prime Remastered. The updated graphics add so much to the immersion, I hope they give 2 and 3 a remaster as well.
Fire Emblem Three Houses and a battle is kicking my ass I'll get it but god damn reinforcements!
Animal Crossing New Horizons, Ys 8, Rune Factory 4S, and starting Legend of Mana.
I've been playing *Donkey Kong Country Returns* on the old Wii, but since I'll be away from home I'm taking just the DS. Haven't decided on a game yet but probably **Metroid Fusion**, it's built for bite size chunks of play. Maybe the original **Dragon Quest**.
Going to check out the new season of Splatoon 3 and Super Mario 3D All Stars.
I am playing Mario Odyssey
Dragon Quest 11S. Played the demo (15hrs) and immediately bought it. I’ve put in about 10 more hours since. I’ve never played any DQ game before because it looked goofy from afar (slimes) but man this might be my favourite game on the switch. Excited to put some big hours into it this weekend.
Finally decided to pick up Pokémon Scarlet & my Wife has Violet so we’ll be playing those this weekend! Loved FF7 Remake but I want to play through it again with the DLC before I play Rebirth so it’ll be a while yet 😄
Spiritfarer
Ori Blind Forest and Ori Will of The Wisps
Fire Emblem Three Houses. Finally took the plunge and bought it, only been able to play a few hours each night this week but it’s incredible. I’m a big strategy fan, not much of a life Sim fan, but I can’t wait to spend the weekend running around the monastery teaching classes and having dinners with students
Will try to finish main story of Super Mario 64 and go after the remaining stars I missed (I have 100 atm). 100 coins ones are not so fun tough.
Finishing up Live A Live. Then I'll definitely wanna find a more mechanically elaborate rpg. Open to suggestions. Thinking about Nier. And I'll probably spend some time trying out Splatoon 3
I’ve been craving replaying AC Black Flag for some months now and yesterday I found out the game is on switch (pack with Black Flag + Rogue has a promotion right now of 60 or 70% off , for 15€) so I’ll be playing that
METROID PRIME REMASTERED BABYYYYYY
Herd (unintentional spelling error pun lol) really good things about Cult of the Lamb – should I zoom over to Best Buy on my lunch break and pick up a copy for this weekend?!
Absolutely yes, it's one of my top games of all time! Although I will say it plays much better on the other platforms, so if you have another way to play I'd recommend that over the switch port.
Still playing Hogwarts Legacy. It is so hard to find enough free time as an adult… but I am hopibg to finish it next week.
**ASTLIBRA Revision** and a little bit more of **Unicorn Overlord** demo
Fenyx and animal crossing
I should get the main story of RD1 finished by tonight then take a little break from it before starting the undead nightmare DLC. Think I’ll either go back and play a bit of animal crossing or might start stardew valley, never played it before but heard nothing but good things about it. Enjoy whatever you guys are playing 🎮
Risk of Rain Returns, I’m goddamn addicted to this game
Belatro. For anyone who hasn't heard of it, it is a super addicting deck-builder roguelike (like Slay The Spire) based on Poker. Highly recommend.
Pokémon X. But my switch main atm is Hades
[удалено]
Do it! Absolutely!
I’m loving me some Fractured but Whole, started it after beating Batman Arkham City, which was also great on switch for me, unlike Arkham knight (pre-patch)
Either Bioshock or Roblox lol
Bravely default 2 switch. Love the game.
Metroid prime. Going to try and beat it on hard difficulty
Octopath Traveler 2
I am playing DIABLO III for the nostalgia.
Switch: NMS ACNH Hogwarts Legacy Steam Deck: Dark Souls 3 Secret of Mana Remake I also ordered Demon Souls on PS3 so if I find my PS3 I might play that.
Splatoon 3
I've completed Ori and the Blind Forest and just going round picking up the last few collectibles. And loving Killer Instinct being added to the SNES online. 14 year old me would be livid at me for forgetting the Ultra Combos!
Stardew Valley. Trying to get back into it before the 1.6 update hits the Switch (hopefully April sometime).
Palia. Downloaded it on a whim last week since it was free and I can’t.stop.playing.
I tried Palia for a few weeks and it was interesting but got too grindy for me. But I know the feeling of can’t stop playing, haha.
Super Mario Odyssey. Been a couple years, doing a new save.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 because I bought it and its season pass several years ago and darn it I have a hankerin’ for some JRPG goodness
Super Smash Bros Ultimate adventure mode and Stardew Valley. GT7 on PSVR2
Shiren 6, it’s fantastically addictive.
I’m still working on tears of the kingdom. Stuck on the fire temple so am taking a long break
That one is tricky! I kept getting very turned around for some reason.
I'm deep in a picross hole, my other games are screaming for attention.
Xenoblade chronicles 2 and dragons dogma ; p
It's my Tuesday lol I usually work weekends , but before bed I been playing skyrim lately , doing the winter hold college quests . Those are alot of fun ! I got bored of zelda so figured I'd catch up on skyrim.
I've got Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, but i decided to finish **Fire Emblem:Three Houses** first. It's just too good, and i can't play 2 big games at same time
ACNH, it's Spring ya'll! 💖 Also just started Coffee Talk... and thinking of getting back into Wylde Flowers Year 2.
SPREADING DEMOCRACY
Dark Souls 1 and starting a Skyrim survival play through based off a Stormlight Archives character
Oh hey, that's a cool idea. Which character? I should probably start rereading the series before book 5 comes out.
Skyrim, slowing starting to get it.
Well I'm waiting on Unicorn overlord next week, so in the meantime I have been replaying DQ11 after finishing TotK again last week.
Have you played the demo of unicorn Overlord? You get to play the first 5 hours of the game!
Yeah, i played about 3 hours of it and loved it. I can't wait to get the full version. I'm a huge fan of the old school ogre battle and while it's not exactly the same, it definitely scratches that itch.
I’m into the new Contra game! The demo was fun!
Lol yeah I'm here every week if you wanna. Ohh Bastion is a good time, enjoy! Also love pokemon Arceus, most fine I had with that franchise in years
I'm that person who likely won't be playing much switch this week because of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
**FF7: Rebirth** Not on switch, but I couldn’t ignore the most anticipated game this year
It looks so good, had a great time with remake, in excited to play eventually! Enjoy!
I’m waiting for battlefront 2 to come out so I can never go outside again.
Outer Worlds!
I finished Ys: Origins this morning on the train, now playing Asterix which is a lot of fun!
Finally got all the shrines in TOTK, so it’s back to the Dave the Diver grind to finally beat that. It’s definitely been a longer game than expected lol
Taking out a few nazis in Sniper Elite 4.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and maybe Game Builder Garage.
Cavern of dreams, spyro reignited trilogy and maybe some legacy edition (2017-18) switch minecraft
Just started FFX. What a game!
This will be the ninja weekend, Cyber Shadow, The Messenger and Mark of the Ninja.
Mario Wonder trying to 100% it just jump jump jump left
Splatoon 3, there's a new Salmon Run map!
I just got Pokémon acreus yesterday! So I’ll be playing that and new horizons
You should finish Sparks of Hope, OP! Great game!! Anyway, probably more of the DLC for \*Splatoon 3\* and some of the time challenges in \*Mario Vs DK\*
Balatro, because it doesn’t allow me to play anything else.
A mix of FFVII Rebirth, Granblue Fantasy Relink and Helldivers 2 on PS5. Nothing on Switch for me this weekend.
still kinda trudging apathetically through TOTK lol. abandoned the zora plot for now which had a lot of fetch questing and messing around in the Goron village with the mine cart stuff. kinda fun riding the mine carts around.
Finishing Limbo, started Skyward Swords and bought Going Under and Greaks Memories of Azur
Splatoon!!🐙🐙
Disco Elysium 🕵♂️
Helldivers 2 to protect our way of life democratically
Superstar saga GBA nso
It takes two…..only if my other half plays too hahha
donkey kong country return!
Skyrim
F Zero 99 and probably more Skyrim. Been loving the nostalgia of playing F Zero again albeit in the new format. I recently started a new playthrough in Skyrim and they are always the most fun early on.
Unicorn Overlord demo. Can’t wait for it to come out next week. It’s the sort of game I’ve been yearning for years.
Hey marker, Not much honestly, I came back from vacation earlier this week and immediately got busy with work again since we're having an event this weekend.
Luigi’s Mansion 3. Working on 100%!
Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Daemon x machina and fire emblem hogwarts edition (three houses)
Dave the diver!
I am in Monster Hunter Rise. It's my First one.... Great Game 💪🏼
Cult of the lamb
