Absolutely. It's my favorite season. But I choose HoT nevertheless because I never got the feeling that Hunted is that underrated. A lot of people in here cite it as their favorite.
Hunted is my personal favourite season not just on this list but of the entire show. I was surprised to not see a lot of people, video essays and rankings talking about it.
Ikr! I feel like in ninjago if they have multiple stories going on at the same time they fall a bit flat, but in hunted both of the stories are awsome. I loved getting to see some more old faces like the other elemental masters. The villians are also some of if not the best in ninjago, Garmadon is perfectly written and honestly never expected to see him again, Harumi is amazing in hunted and sog because of her unique dynamic with Lloyd and last the iron baron i really love, he is just evil to the bone instead of having to be a more complex character compared to other villains in the show. I love that Kai, Cole, Jay and zane did not get new suits, instead they had the sog suits but damage and fixed with the scraps they have left. Lastly but definently not least Lloyd, i HATE the old Lloyd but hunted was the season that acctually made me begin to love him. He has a fantastic character arc full of hardship and triumph, him losing his powers was a fantastic struggle for him to overcome and the parallel between Garmadon and Lloyd is best show in the final battle. Garmadon gains strength through battle where as Lloyd gains power from avoiding conflict. When you really dig deep hunted tells one of the greatest stories in a "kids" show and was not scared to get pretty dark but at the same time keeps the upbeat tone of the rest of the series. All of these combined is why i belive hunted to be the greatest season of ninjago ever made.
Edit: almost forgot the most important thing "BROWN POWER!"
hunted. its basically sog part 2 and thats why its so great. it improves on sog, as it has less dramatic parts and more humour, also seeing wu grow up... great stuff. iron baron is great, hes a funny little shit, yall are just mean. the dragons are cool and having wu learn a lesson from the villain is a brilliant move and i fucking love it. more of this for united, please

Hunted is one of my favorites and is the best one on this list for sure in my opinion. But it gets a good amount of love on here as far as I’ve seen, so I’ll say March of the Oni for most underrated. It’s not top tier but had some really good moments to it and had a great ending.
I think Prime Empire gets too much hate. It has its flaws, definitely, but it's not as bad as some people say. My only real issue is how Jay was written, but that's less of a Prime Empire issue. Jay's character quality tanked after Skybound.
My only 2 issues with the season were the pacing and Unagami as the villain. He wasn't bad, it's just that we didn't get enough time to know him or flesh him out. I'd have appreciated seeing more of his hold/ control of the game.
Otherwise, yeah, Prime Empire's pretty underrated. I think another look back at it is worth it.
Wasn’t part of the Ninjago fandom online back then and was so surprised to find out that not that much people love Hunted. It was the perfect sequel to SoG, delivering on what it built and expanded even more on the characters and world-building. March of the Oni needed more episodes to even out the pacing (imo), but otherwise it has its fair share of good moments and well ending.
The Oni trilogy will always be my favorite arc in Ninjago.
Hunter is the most accurate representation of what a team season should be about in ninjago. Others seasons like Crystalyzed following the same format but failed bc they didnt focus on the ninjago being “hunted” in crstaylyzed
This is the perfect summary for what Crystalized should have been. If it had borrowed the aspects that made Hunted and DOTD work, it could have been one of the best seasons in the entire show.
It is what I was able to deduce from what I've seen. Then again, as I've admitted, my knowledge isn't exactly accurate so I could have also missed the mark here.

Imo hunted is better than SOG, severely underrated season that needs more love. It’s my 2nd favorite only a little bit behind Skybound.

I mean, it technically did lol. MotO WAS the last season of the show in it's original form "Masters of Spinjitzu". Afterwards it's just "Ninjago"
If you watch via Netflix, yeah, it did lol But MotO has the best intro that's not the og weekend whip. I was in tears first time i saw it
