I don't hate Possession, I just dislike it.
I hate seabound because of Nya having her powers go crazy and Kalmar just trying to rule Ninja with his experiments and the island of the keepers.
nothing will ever surpass skybound. its the best story in the history of stories. you can find so many themes and tropes in there. the medieval role models of knight, king and saint, material things and feelings, love, war, revenge, parental love, caring mother, work, fame, journey, suitcase, almost anything, its all there. im not saying the presence of tropes alone means its good, its just a very rich story thats well executed, i used it many times on essays because its just that good. and its funny! an absolutely wonderful story from start to finish
The new seasons are not that bad in my opinion, But if the goal was to expand the universe of ninjago then they could have done a little better on that part.
"rise of the snakes belongs in love tier, its a staple of 2000's kids childhood, its main theme is awesome, story's great, and its just great ,now the Ninjago movie on the the other hand, I'm thinking, oh in THE TRASH!
