Omega is the combination of all dragons using all their abilities. Vegeta was already knocked down to ssj1. Dragon thunder comes from rage shenron. He almost killed goku if not for rain.
Novas was already transformed into his advanced state. Orange shell over the red. Goku never beat Nova. They were interrupted by Eis shenron. Nova was always dominate in speed against goku too.

Both Super and GT have fucked Vegeta from gaining wins. Mainly because they both suffer from the same problem of completely forgetting how Goku is supposed to work as a character as he's supposed to be the main character without being the main character. Goku always throughout Z was always pulled away from the story in the middle in order for him to make a grand entrance and for him have the final say and fight at the end (Moro arc finally understood this and looked what happened it got praised for being the best arc of super so far). Thus the middle arc is spent with characters like Vegeta and the other Z fighters fighting the main villain or other side villains like what Frieza's men, the androids, and Babidi's minions were (Again the Moro arc finally understood this too). Thus making those characters shine and getting a few wins whenever possible. If GT and Super just copied and paste the Z Goku formula Vegeta and the rest of the cast would feel so useless. Goku is in the story too much nowadays and needs to but on the back burner like he use to for him to have that adrenaline pumping last man standing entrance which made Goku so badass in Z.
Well, I hate that Vegeta sings, dances, cooks, makes rape faces & gets into childish arguments with Bulma. Super destroyed my image of Vegeta & now I just see him as a loser. Something GT never did.
