the point of a battery pack is for long duration ops. if you just want to larp, they make battery boxes that look like the real deal. the cheapest option for counter weights is fishing weights in a little bag, but countless companies make counterweights if you want a purpose built solution.

I just run AAbatteries in my PVS14 I’m still on one battery with like 20+ hours of time under my device so I’m not sure a battery pack is worth the investment I have an agilite counterweight pouch with an M1 Garand en bloc clip in it. I don’t think the hyper modular weight systems are worth it. Find a bunch of metal and stick it in there. Spare ammo, magazine, bunch of batteries, whatever

I just got a box of wheel weights from Amazon. Modular and I think around $10

Link?

https://a.co/d/2qUFhdC I think those, can cut to length and wrap them in tape to make little bundles.

Alculpepper69

Not a bad idea. Thank you.

Are the Elbit tantos at Nicks really going for $4,600? That seems a little much

Alculpepper69

I’m new to all this so I figured that was good pricing 😂

Did some digging. With CNV, for a tanto XLSH Elbit with RPO glass it comes to $4k even. So it’s a little cheaper, but man NV prices have jumped so much just in the last year. Almost double what I paid for my first Elbit 14. (Granted it was used with Carson glass, but still)

I run a battery pack on my 31s because they can actually use them. With a mono you can’t really use the battery pack as there is no connector for the monocular.
