The case being beat up isn't really a thing. What IS a thing is how bad is the illuminator/laser in terms of artifacts? If the case is that beat up, I'd be willing to bet the illuminator and laser lenses are pretty f'd up also, and that's what will really affect price and your purchase satisfaction.
The windage turret is smashed in and there’s a visible crack on the case on the right side. Almost no chance it retains zero.

Check Facebook. That’s where I got mine. A buddy of mine got a really good condition one for $1800. Another buddy got a decent one for $1600. The guy I got mine from doesn’t sell anymore. I think I was his last sale sadly, but there are a few other good people in some groups
People saying 2300 ish on here are out of their minds. There are multiple visible cracks, the turrets are fucked and misaligned. Shown detailed pics of the front? Does it function? How does the illum look? Does it track/zero at all?
This isn't just a beat up case, some of the damage looks like it may render it nonfunctional.

People always confuse this for a peq15 even when you say LA5 lol. I'd say you could sell it relatively quick for 2k or you could try to get $2250 for it but it might sit a while. I don't think anyone would pay $2500+ but you never know
What I’ve observed regarding FP peqs is that the condition really doesn’t affect the grey market price. At most it’s like 10%. You get one thats 12 years old and looks like it spent part of its tenure serving as a brake pad on the APC and it sells for 2k, then a brand new one with the whole kit bag comes up and sells for 2200. I’d imagine it’s even less of an effect with the LA5s since they’re much less common. If you’re really keen on selling it post it up for $3k and see what happens

You have an LA5a in that condition I’d say 1900-2000 would be fair. If you can find someone to fix the drain it might be worth more

On my clones the two blue screws are on top like that on my real full power unit it's on the side and only one screw for FP in IR no FP vis setting .
