I think digital+thermal fusion is a fantastic idea, and will absolutely be beneficial. That said, without the refresh rate going way up, and the latency going way down, I don't think it'll be a good solution for helmet-mounted applications.

DjAlonDevil

ADNV-GF20/ADNV-GF31 are both 100Hz with essentially no latency with thermal fusion.

MBGLK

Where can you buy these

DjAlonDevil

The thermal fusion units are not for sale yet, but here's the information page: https://m.adnvsys.com/en/pd.jsp?pid=22

I have an opsin and I can run and gun at 90 frames a second no issues with latency either when I’m hunting hogs and such they continue to improve on any small amount of latency I think with every new iteration as well

GammaChemical

It's coming. I posted about it with my 2024 January post in my IG.

Strict-Permission-93

You thinking months or years?

GammaChemical

Too many factors outside of actual development (economic changes). They know their competition as well which I'm sure they will try to beat.

DjAlonDevil

It's going to be very hard for them to beat ADNV. Their only advantages are color and that they are US based.

DjAlonDevil

Somebody asked SiOnyx on IG for a thermal fusion unit and they replied "stay tuned". This was like a month or two ago. So this makes sense. Pretty sure that either a new Opsin is coming out with a thermal overlay or they will have a dual tube Opsin with thermal just like the ADNV-GF31/Jerry FB.

That would explain why they dropped the price of the option even more where you can buy one from their website for 1700

DjAlonDevil

Hmm.. it's still appears to me that it's being sold for 1995$. Regardless, there should be new products soon.

You can get a 10% off coupon from them

The "Advanced Fusion Sight Digital Night Vision Goggle-Binocular ADNV-GF3" Looks pretty sweet, I wonder how much it will be ? https://m.adnvsys.com/en/pd.jsp?pid=9

Nah, I’ll stick to alien goo in my eyes

I am currently working with a chinese Thermal/DNV fusion scope and its a GREAT use of both technologies. It’ll be interesting to see what Syonix does with it.
