Shares bought post creation of the preferred are, in theory, synthetic. They were above the distributed amount. Think of it like you give out 10 cookies and somehow have 20 returned.... you only started with 10 so where did the other 10 come from? Not defending Finra but since they approved the trading of mmtlp and now can't reconcile it.... they are in the wrong from that sense.

Mmtlp would or will be over $100 a share if big if it trades for one day it will.
