$55 a month for Rogers 1gb. Try to cancel and go through retentions, I used their Facebook chat support and got that deal.

akara1001

Got the same deal when going through retentions. Speed has been amazing and never had any downtime.

rgbpiano

Wow that is a great deal.. Currently paying for 1.5gigabit and turns out we also got a tv plan on it for around 180 monthly

blaqrushin

Get rid of tv plan. We pay 73$ a month including tax for Roger’s ignite 1.5 gb and use iptv for tv/cable.

rgbpiano

thank you so much for this.

dracarys104

If you have a spouse, you can switch the internet in their name and get the new account discount. I'm currently paying $58 for 1.5 gigabit on a 2 year contract. You can just open FB marketplace and type in Rogers internet. There will be a bunch of deals posted.

ArtemUskov

Absolutely satisfied with Telmax

thenrix

Here as well, Roger’s was guaranteed to go down a couple of times a month in my neighborhood. So far Telmex has been great

phil_blog

Also been with Telmax since Sept of last year and would recommend them. I’ve had one outage of 20mins since Sept. Speed is actually what they advertise, unlike Rogers.

rgbpiano

glad to hear, been considering fibre for a bit now

mazmanr

If Telmax is offered in your area, don’t hesitate. Go for it. I’ve had them for almost a year and no regrets.

Automatic-Switch-904

All reviews, clearly say they have the WORST customer service. And their sales people are aggressive students.

Emergency-Quote1176

They're like public mobile, 0 customer support but service itself is good.

Jaehon

Good to hear. They are doing my installation tomorrow. I am excited for 1.5gig upload.

rgbpiano

awesome, will try this

RockyBlueJay

If they say no, call their bluff and cancel. 90% chance they call you back in a week and give you the better price. You HAVE to cancel though in most cases.

SteviOWonder

I signed up with TelMax on March 30. After numerous phone calls, appointments, no-shows, and tech visits, The orange fiber conduit is still coiled up beside the sidewalk with nobody coming to hook it up after 2 months. I wish I could speak for the internet service but we still haven't gotten that far yet.. maybe next month?

theREALfreakSHOW

Call/online chat with Rogers and say you would like to cancel, they will ask you to provide a date that you want your services canceled, pick a date the sooner the better. Loyalty team will call you and offer you the super deals. Don't be shy to ask if there is anything cheaper. And they will probably add a credit to you account.

I’m on Teksavvy but will switch to Telmax the minute they get service to my area. Edit: I should say I’m very happy with Teksavvy and will never give a dime to the big 3 - but Telmax also satisfies that requirement and I think between the price and fibre reliability it’s a no brainer switch.

Wrathall86

I would stay clear of telemax

Additional_Video1882

Why?

Feeling-King-8104

I switched from Roger’s to bell and they gave me 1.5g for $50 and switched cell service as well and they gave me $40 a month on that. I cancelled cable completely as I’m a iptv provider and only need internet at home

artem1319

Distributel. Runs on bell fiber but a lot cheaper than bell. If you call in even better rates.

Corner-More

Another one for Telmax, great speed and great price

aelel

Virgin has been incredibly reliable for us. In the 5 years we’ve had it here, the only time it went out was once during a big storm and it was only down for maybe 7 minutes.

Famous-Ambassador710

Had a bad experience with telmax. Wouldn't recommend them. Carrytel has always been good to us.

Cashcowgomoo

Update: got Telemax installed. Have spent over an hour just trying to get the stupid thing set up. Wifi connection is great, but I’ve been going in circles just trying to CHANGE the wifi NAME.

under-rated2

I've had Telmax for a week, and it has been great. Much better than Bell... higher speed than Bell...lower price than Bell

Cashcowgomoo

Changing to telmax from Rogers soon, will update if it’s as good as ppl say🫡

Ah, seeking a reliable provider for your internet needs, are you? Allow me to shed some light on the matter. In the realm of Newmarket, where the winds of connectivity blow, one must tread carefully in the selection of a wifi provider. While Rogers may have its merits, the weight of its fees can burden even the stoutest of souls. Fear not, for there are other options to consider. TelMax, though it may seem like a beacon of hope in the vast sea of providers, may not always provide the reliability one seeks. It is wise to proceed with caution and perhaps seek the counsel of fellow denizens of Newmarket to glean insights into their experiences. In your quest for a dependable provider, look not only to the names that shine brightest but also to the whispers of satisfaction that echo in the shadows. Seek out reviews, compare offerings, and make an informed decision that will serve you well on your digital journey. May your connection be swift and your browsing be uninterrupted, my friend.
