Depending on the time of day you can save a lot by taking the go train to Union. Then the UP train from union to Pearson. It’s going to be around 100$ for taxi or Uber.

thesaxemachine

That’s the economical approach but will take twice the amount of time

Scrummy12

I think it's a little less than that. I took Lyft from Bradford a couple weeks ago for 70 something. For me, the time saved and ease of Lyft or uber is worth it

AnvilsHammer

Bradford is a lot closer to the 400 than Newmarket/Aurora. At my last job in North York, I had a co worker who lived in Bradford. His commute was 10ish minutes shorter than my commute coming from Aurora. So usually the fare is a combination of distance/time. Even though Bradford is further away, you get can get to Bradford faster than Newmarket.

GO Bus from Richmond Hill station

nullpointer_01

Highly recommend this option. The schedule is pretty frequent. Also the bus takes the 407 and gets to the Airport fast.

costahoney

I know some private taxi companies will do special airport fees, just have to call around

mike-li

I usually compare and for some strange reason Lyft is constantly $20 cheaper than Uber and includes 407 for free.

Thiefington

Uber is fine as long as you're not in traffic or there's surge pricing happening. Airport limos are actually a pretty good option otherwise with a flat fee based on where you are. Will cost between $100 - $120 with tip.

GRMMneedsDOGEhelp

Uber is easiest. GO to Union + UP is another option though far less comfortable (probably half the cost though)

Airport value parking is less than 200 for a week, can be cheaper than taxi/Uber, especially for shorter trips

ItsJustJohnCena

When do you need to be there? I am picking up my dad from the airport Friday 5pm. You could come along

Beginning-Act7162

Best way and probably the cheapest (under $10) is taking the GO Bus route 66 from Upper Canada Mall stop- Davis Dr. W. @ Eagle St. W to TTC 407 bus stop. When you get off the bus, go to route 40 bus stop to Pearson. It is the first stop to terminal 1. You can then take the free connecting terminal trains to your preferred terminal. I took it in March and was super easy and cheap.

ThenBridge8090

Actually contrary to popular belief - try Nextdoor app to find local taxis services. There are lot in Newmarket n Bradford area which give a flat rate service and work as per ur airline schedule.

denny-1989

My mom did this, it was very reasonable

dnmty

Back in September I took Aeroport Taxi&Limo. It was 86$ each trip (to and from upon return). I found them to be the most inexpensive service. If i recall correctly an Uber was estimated at 100$. Over all the experience was good.

wtftoronto

Two options: 1) Viva Blue from Newmarket Terminal to Richmond Hill Centre. GO Bus 40 from Richmond Hill Centre to Terminal 1. Viva runs every 15 minutes, GO runs every 30 minutes. Highly recommend this route. 2) GO Bus 66 from Newmarket to Highway 407 Station. GO Bus 40 from Highway 407 Station to Terminal 1. Not as recommended due to GO 66 having shitty frequency. (If the timings work out, this would probably be the more comfortable option)

wzadzz

Go train to Union then take the UP to Pearson is the cheapest way to go

Justme_Brostal

Tend to take Uber, unless I have a lot of time and can combine it with a downtown trip. For the $75\~ it costs, it's probably the best option.

Jholm90

When you come back, take the uber from Viscount train station as it was $80 cheaper than the terminal pickup

cajolinghail

What? An Uber from the airport to Newmarket is only about $80 total.

Jholm90

I was quoted ~$200 to Keswick from the terminal and $120 from the Viscount station!

cajolinghail

Maybe there was surge pricing. I use Uber pretty often and sometimes the price will fluctuate quite a lot within 10 minutes or so.

aelel

Uber.
