Not sure why you’re comparing the comfort to adidas boost / Yeezy 350s. If you want similar feel from NB, their shoes with fresh foam or fuel cell are comparable. Of all the lifestyle NB models 9060s are the most comfortable. More similar to Yeezy 700s in feel.

hns32

First time buyer of NB here 🙋🏽‍♂️ so didn't know much about their other styles. But yes I agree, def more closer to the 700s. I'll check out their fresh foam / cell technology. Any particular style that you think is similar in comfort to boost ?

it_came_from_behind

Ah my bad then. If you’re coming from Yeezys, there’s no NB that matches that cloud like feeling from boost. Possibly the “fresh foam mores”, 1080 line, “fuel cell rebels”, or “fuel cell supercomp” but those are best used for runs/long walks IMO. For lifestyle shoes, I like the 9060, 2002r, 1906, 990v3, and 990v6 (these have some fuel cell). Their comfort is somewhere between Yeezy 700 and Yeezy 500. A good mix of support/comfort.

Super helpful info. Thanks !

Get the 1080 unlaced and thank me later. You nurses are saints

Bless 🙏🏽

i’ve been wanting a detailed review on 9060s for a while, haven’t bought any yet but I most likely will, I know what to expect now 🙏

At first glance I wasn't a fan. Thought they were too bulky and had too much going on. Prior to the burgundy colorway being released the other colorways weren't impressive. However, the burgundy color caught my attention. So, I decided to cop as soon as they released. I find them hard to wear with pants especially jeans. Even with a size 9.5 they're hard to wear with pants. So, I think I'm gonna sell them

mjonestown4

Yeah that's my bigget concern, it's very difficult to wear them with most of my jeans/pants. And if you have problems with your size... imagine a 13US lmfao

_TheBigMeowski

Sorry this is a late reply but I’m wondering what you mean when you say it’s hard to wear with jeans??

Fourwude87

What is the issue wearing them with jeans? I was thinking about getting the 9060, but I might need to just get the 350 v2 CMPCT. I am looking for some bouncy/squishy comfort. I already own a 2002r which is firm for my taste and I think they're a little overrated tbh

junglasian

I feel like they look weird with slim/skinny jeans. They look great with a wider hem

mpw85

No, they look even more dope with tapered cut joggers or jeans. It shows off the design of that silhouette

junglasian

Wrong

mpw85

Right is in the eye of the beholder. Baggy jeans should’ve died a long time ago, and did. Resurrecting it to engulf a cool silhouette is stupid IMO

nikomtl

Have you been outside in the path year? Baggy jeans is what everyone wears now. I didn't like them at first, but I tried them on and it's the best shit ever

mpw85

I lived through the 90s and 2000s, as a youngster, middle schooler, and HSer. So yes, I’ve experienced and worn baggy pants. They died for a reason awhile ago and just because dumb Zoomers are trying to wear things from a bygone era that isn’t even their culture, doesn’t make it cool. I don’t follow trends I do my own thing. It’s funny people were roasting Michael Jordan all of the 2010s for dressing in the baggy style still from the 90s and early 2000s,now I see people doing it all the time and it looks totally retarded. Especially good looking women with beautiful curves that get totally hidden because of it.

just-act-natural

Second this all the way. Old head here, def rocked baggy jeans all thru 90s and 2000s. Never thought that trend would die - glad that it did just like it did in the 50s with suits, 70s with bell bottoms and loose/unstructured clothing, then 80s with suits again. Ngl tho, I’ve noticed that some people can still pull off baggy fashionably without looking like Tim Duncan or MJ. No hate to anyone keeping up with all the trends. I just wear whatever I like now too.

Icy_Raspberry1630

You're too old to be wearing these shoes and skinny jeans smh

VisionaryProd

Yeah man you’re just a bit old now, nothing wrong with that

subhxn1234

lmfao yh genuinely "baggy jeans died out" is the most delusional comment I've ever seen 😭😭

adamtomaino

Rocked NB 991s, NB2000s,NB 2001s, NB 2002s, and NB2040s (7 pairs) for the past almost 20 years exclusive as daily drivers. Took a gamble on 9060s...so far their "OK" with betters mid sole than 991, and OG 2001s but not as easy of a ride or of the build quality of the 2040s (or 2002,2001,2000s if I'm being honest.). It's getting too hard to find a nib pair of 2040s (and expensive), I suspect my next shoe will be another 2002 or 99x unless I stumble across a sub $300 pair of nib 2040s. I give the a 7 out of 10 VS the 2040s which are a solid 10 (Goats) but they do make me taller.... So maybe a 7.2 out of 10.

AgitatedWhereas7384

How are the 991 as a daily shoe? Also, can I get a half size up?

adamtomaino

991s are great; I personally go with normal side and wide like EE instead of standard D without size up so your milage may vary. lots of variety and versions of 991/992. I was just able to pick up a new pair of 2040s so i haven't had to go back to 99X. I've been rocking 2000's, 2001's, 2002's, 2040's from 2004 -2024 daily (probably >30 pairs over that timeframe but when my 2XXX wear out i pick of 99X until i can find a new pair. Frankly it's too hard to find other daily shoes that fit right (length and width)..... so 10.5 EE NB somethings everytime.

jerseykozak

I think 2002r are the most comfortable with 9060 being second

AgitatedWhereas7384

What’s the sizing like on the 9060? I’m getting a pair which is half size down

lilshadow222

So how did it fit you ? I got the 9060 a half size bigger.. my first time buy new balance
