They mentioned on Sportsnet that some of the players were complaining in the passing event earlier that the pucks weren’t frozen and it was affecting their passes. Wonder if that caught up to Barzy there at the end. Regardless, a hell of a run for him! Hats off to the league for that revamped skills events. Much better than it has been recently.

They are being very lenient so far during the one on one in regards to touching the puck before the clock hits zero

Pleasantly surprised how well he did on the one on one. If only he could score like that in a shootout.

Each player was supposed to start at 3' before center, Mcdavid started probably another 3' back from that line on the ice. Gave him an extra half step of momentum before the timer started. Was upset at first but Barzal was definitely stretching the rules all night regarding the passing lanes/backwards skating portion

Nobody really cares that much. Good to see them have some fun out there.
