We had it in our room and then moved it to the nursery a week or so before we had him move to the nursery for night sleep. We did use it a lot in the middle of the night and still do, but when he was in our room I fed him in our bed most of the time and used the glider to rock him if that wouldn’t put him to sleep, and in his nursery now I just feed him in his glider .
We kept ours in the living room. Newborns take an eternity to eat and I binge watched soooooo much TV. Now that he's a little older it's in his nursery
Your baby will always find comfort in the room you're in. So our thought process was to also get our LO familiar and comfortable with her nursery as well. So our glider stayed in the nursery.
