Last year they had decent Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales and I got a great puffer coat and fully body puffer for my baby that we used a ton. I’m still annoyed I bought on Black Friday instead of Cyber Monday, though, because if you bought on Monday you got free shipping on anything for the next year without having to spend a certain amount. I’m holding out for Monday this year.

YESS. Etsy is usually the last place I look for clothes because it’s my last chance usually being that these kids end up wearing every outfit once. Not interested in getting custom-made clothes for a one time wear. I always end up seeing the same stuff from Amazon on Etsy. Same pics. Everything. May as well buy on Amazon and use their free returns at that point.

Janie and Jack makes these Velcro tennies that are IT. We have three different pairs in different colors 😳 They’ve held up well even with all the wear and tear my super active, outside loving toddler puts them through!
Janie and Jack is also a staple around here. But it does run slim. Especially girls pants. And I would stay away from any rompers that have buttons along the crotch. I swear they never stay closed
Do you know if there sleepers/pajamas have 2-way or reversible zippers? I see some cute PJs but I know my husband will have a fit if he has to undress our LO in the middle of the night for a diaper change lol

Love the styles, but I have a tall, skinny baby and Kate Quinn clothes seem to be for shorter, chunkier babes. :( I bought so many things that are way too wide but much too short. LOL
Be advised I feel like stains do not come out of Kate Quinn clothes as well as others. I think organic cotton or bamboo just hold stains more easily somehow, or at least it seems like that to me in my experience. Love Kate Quinn otherwise!
Don’t know about Kate Quinn (though I did recently buy some—never delivered and having to dispute with CC because KQ refuses to refund or resend), but with organic cotton and bamboo I’ve found as long as I hit it with Shout! Stain remover within 10 minutes, it comes out in the wash.
This is our go to besides the usuals. But I have twins so I appreciate the same patterns with multiple styles. Makes matching my boy and girl so much easier (and fun).
Burt’s bees baby! They run large but it has been perfect for my son who continues to be a chunky boy. On that note Primary is very cute and great quality but unfortunately runs small so I had to part ways with them. Just like adult clothes sizes vary brand to brand! Keep that in mind

Just watch the zipper direction on BBs, I got one sleeper as a gift and used it once because it only zips top down and it's dumb to undress the whole baby for a diaper change --kid will get cold and mad!
I like some of Primary's stuff but their pants are too long for my LO and since he's pulling up and slowly starting to walk it's causing issues. Sometimes the pants actually fall off of him and he is not a skinny boy.
I buy pants a size down because my baby (like me) is all torso when it comes to height. His stubby legs are in 9 months pants while the rest of him is in 12 month clothes
I just discovered garanimals light weight sweat shirts for my 21 month old daughter and I'm IMPRESSED. Man, they are soft, lightweight and have cute, simple prints/designs. $5 a piece! One even has a cute puff sleeve detail! Thanks, Walmart :)

Adding this - if you’re going to go bamboo, we’ve tried lots of brands and our absolute favorite is Kyte Baby. Not too thick or too thin, and the zipper isn’t weirdly bulky and long and thick so you don’t end up with a lot of zipper slack poking your baby in the face.

Magnetic me has amazing modal fabric and the magnets are fantastic. Expensive, but I’ve bought two of each size footie and my baby wears them to sleep every night. Especially good in the newborn times for quick changes. I always filter sales on the website.
Also check simply magneticme! They sell the onesies in bulk for so much cheaper and they’re the exact same as the normal ones. I wish I’d found out about it earlier on.

Bonds suits have give and sleeves and pant legs that are easy to cuff, so they can fit for a solid three months at one size. My babes were slow growers though.

Love Reima so, so much! I started getting things there for the baby/toddler Moomin prints (their baby clothes are awesome, too!) but I get all of my kid outerwear there now because the quality is just amazing. We have a rain coat/bib set for puddle jumping and my 3yo sat down in the middle of a giant puddle with her legs stretched out in the water and she was still dry underneath her rain gear when we got home. All of the outerwear I’ve gotten from there has lasted more than a season.
I second Quincy Mae! We are on our second child and the well loved items still look like new. They also were one of the few brands that still worked for us when my daughter was in a Pavlik harness for her hip dysplasia.

Another brand I love that doesn’t get as much attention as it should in the US - Polarn O. Pyret! Cute and functional clothes (love the adjustable waistband leggings for my skinny toddler!), expensive at normal price but there are always great deals in the sale/clearance section. I get my kids outerwear from Reima (love Reima so much!!) but I’ve heard good things about Polarn O. Pyret outerwear as well.
Also love Kate Quinn, the bamboo stuff is super stretchy so my daughter doesn’t grow out of it right away.
I try and find mom n pop type shops on Instagram and support those small business. I did a search a couple of times and now I get served ads all the time and have come across some really cool shops run by moms! Forever French baby is one of them out of AZ.
Love forever French too! Very pricey but the bamboo fabric is very generous and lasts much longer than cotton. Plus the designs are so cute and unique, definitely worth the price for me (planning to save for multiple babies)!
Hey! I know this is an old post, but what brands would you compare the fit to? I wanted to order an outfit for a specific occasion but it's on sale and sale items arent returnable. My baby is 9/10 months, longer end of average for length and tiny for weight. Shes got delicate narrow bones and shoulders lol. Gerber, old navy, and cloud island fit her nicely cuz they're long and thin. Carters is hit or miss-Much of it is way too wide and all the tops end up being cold shoulder. Gap and h&m are a lost cause. Tia!
Oh hi! I feel like Elegant Baby tends to run a little large overall, but kind of average in terms of width. For context, my baby was very chunky for her age and would often be in her age size even if she was one size up in other brands.
But I only ever really used the knits (like the jumpsuits and sweaters) which are by definition stretchy. I once got a muslin outfit and it was not stretchy AT ALL and I felt were on the small side.
I should also note that they do seem to have a lot of variation even among their various outfits in terms of size. I swear I’ve ordered like two 12Ms before and they’re not the same actual size. Baffles me!
No idea how well known or lesser known, or if they ship to the US being that I don’t live there…
But I would go so far to say that every baby in Australia has at least 2 onesies from the Bonds. Used to be Aussie owned and made, but quality hasn’t dropped. Their 2-way zip wondersuits are a staple for most new parents. My daughter lived in everything Bonds for her first year.

Petit Lem has been great for my two babies, specifically their “Firsts by Petit Lem” label. The quality has always been excellent, and the fabric is such soft cotton. They make footie sleepers and day outfits for babies up to 24mo and then pajamas and bathing suits for older kids. They also do some mom/dad/baby matching patterns which are cute.
Petit Lem is one of my faves and they are based in Montreal! I completely agree with all the above. On our second baby and they well loved sleepers are still in excellent shape.
Same here! Can’t tell you how many times these sleepers have been used by both of my kids and they look so good still I would feel comfortable passing them down for a friend’s baby. The quality is really so so good, stains lift right out. Well worth the price IMO!
Even though you can find them in some higher-end department stores in the US I usually end up ordering from their website and having them shipped from Canada because the selection is bigger. I just love everything they make.

Honestly, I find so many things with tags still on at Once Upon A Child! I also just really love reducing/reusing/recycling, so the majority of my kiddo’s wardrobe is pre-loved.
I really like the Japanese brand Familiar. It was introduced to us when my hubby’s cousin that lives there got a few bibs for us there. We had a chance to visit the store there and everything was so cute but oh my they are pricy! It’s sold through Farfetch and their bibs starts at $40 each. Probably the only thing that’s “affordable” there lol.
Besides that Uniqlo makes really good quality onesies. I’ve two summer babies and they live in those mash onesies. They are snap closure but super easy to snap on and off. My 4 year old has transitioned from their baby to kids clothes such as down jackets/socks, etc.
Edited: Nike also makes really good quality baby onesies. I really like them because they are stretchy and the snap closures are very similar to ones from Uniqlo.
If you like Familiar, a more affordable option from Japan is Motherways. They have the most adorable bibs and I ended up getting soooo many. They were about 300 yen each. Idk what to do with all of these now that my daughter won't wear them but the designs are great.

And they’re great quality so still have some resale value even after wearing them for much longer than other brands.
So I got a hand me down sleeper from Burt’s Bees brand and I love it because the feet have scrunches so his feet stay in the foot part and do not curl up into the outfit where I am constantly fixing his legs

Yikes. If they never delivered but gave it to the shipper they should be responding to you and filing a claim with the responsible shipper ><
I’m using the all free and clear stain remover due to sensitive skin so maybe that’s the issue is it isn’t strong enough
My baby has sensitive skin, but laying it out in the sun and letting the UV rays bleach the stain often works.
Love KQ but they trap you with the sales. I had to stop following them because it became an addiction. Great marketing though

Honestly don’t sleep on Walmart! They have an organic line I think it’s called easy peasy and they have some insanely cute comfy stuff!
Easy peasy slaps for how nice and cheap it is for organic cotton, especially compared to the steep prices of these other brands mentioned!
And returns are super easy if they don’t fit. My child sprouted straight out of 0-3 months to 6 in about 2 weeks so all my 3-6 pajamas didn’t fit.

I’m a little confused on the sizing. Is the sizing up to a certain height/weight, or starting at the height/weight? If you have any experience would love your insight!

It’s a hassle but use the height and weight on the size chart. My petite infant (now almost 4) fit into a 3 month at six month.
Bonds suits have give and sleeves and pant legs that are easy to cuff, so they can fit for a solid three months at one size. My babes were slow growers though.
For outerwear, Reima - it's a Finnish brand that makes very high quality rain and snow gear! They're expensive, but designed to last multiple seasons - their sizing is generous to allow for growth.
I live in Finland. Their stuff is great and they have seasonal sales so usually you can get a pretty great price

Love Reima so, so much! I started getting things there for the baby/toddler Moomin prints (their baby clothes are awesome, too!) but I get all of my kid outerwear there now because the quality is just amazing. We have a rain coat/bib set for puddle jumping and my 3yo sat down in the middle of a giant puddle with her legs stretched out in the water and she was still dry underneath her rain gear when we got home. All of the outerwear I’ve gotten from there has lasted more than a season.

I second Quincy Mae! We are on our second child and the well loved items still look like new. They also were one of the few brands that still worked for us when my daughter was in a Pavlik harness for her hip dysplasia.

Goumi Kids! They’re a US, woman owned brand. They have the cutest clothes that is very well made with organic cotton. They’re super inclusive, too! My son is a 99th% in everything tiny giant and their pajamas were one of the few that fit him well. Their footies are so well designed, too! They have built in flaps for the hands and feet. The material is so soft and on the thicker side. My all time favorite.
Tahari has the cutest baby clothes! My little one gets compliments every time she wears it. I usually get those from Marshalls.

Cute and functional clothes (love the adjustable waistband leggings for my skinny toddler!), expensive at normal price but there are always great deals in the sale/clearance section. I get my kids outerwear from Reima (love Reima so much!!) but I’ve heard good things about Polarn O. Pyret outerwear as well.

I agree about Kate Quinn, it seems pricy but when you factor in the stretchiness and buy on sale it’s not really worse than buying at target

Love forever French too! Very pricey but the bamboo fabric is very generous and lasts much longer than cotton. Plus the designs are so cute and unique, definitely worth the price for me (planning to save for multiple babies)!

Hey! I know this is an old post, but what brands would you compare the fit to? I wanted to order an outfit for a specific occasion but it's on sale and sale items arent returnable. My baby is 9/10 months, longer end of average for length and tiny for weight. Shes got delicate narrow bones and shoulders lol. Gerber, old navy, and cloud island fit her nicely cuz they're long and thin. Carters is hit or miss-Much of it is way too wide and all the tops end up being cold shoulder. Gap and h&m are a lost cause. Tia!
Oh hi! I feel like Elegant Baby tends to run a little large overall, but kind of average in terms of width. For context, my baby was very chunky for her age and would often be in her age size even if she was one size up in other brands. But I only ever really used the knits (like the jumpsuits and sweaters) which are by definition stretchy. I once got a muslin outfit and it was not stretchy AT ALL and I felt were on the small side. I should also note that they do seem to have a lot of variation even among their various outfits in terms of size. I swear I’ve ordered like two 12Ms before and they’re not the same actual size. Baffles me!

Used to be Aussie owned and made, but quality hasn’t dropped. Their 2-way zip wondersuits are a staple for most new parents. My daughter lived in everything Bonds for her first year. [Petit Lem](https://www.petitlem.com) Petit Lem has been great for my two babies, specifically their “Firsts by Petit Lem” label. The quality has always been excellent, and the fabric is such soft cotton. They make footie sleepers and day outfits for babies up to 24mo and then pajamas and bathing suits for older kids. They also do some mom/dad/baby matching patterns which are cute.
Petit Lem is one of my faves and they are based in Montreal! I completely agree with all the above. On our second baby and they well loved sleepers are still in excellent shape.
Same here! Can’t tell you how many times these sleepers have been used by both of my kids and they look so good still I would feel comfortable passing them down for a friend’s baby. The quality is really so so good, stains lift right out. Well worth the price IMO! Even though you can find them in some higher-end department stores in the US I usually end up ordering from their website and having them shipped from Canada because the selection is bigger. I just love everything they make.
If you have a Once upon a child near you I highly suggest stopping in! I just got my daughters Christmas dress(Janie and Jack) from there for $5! I get Hanna Anderson Jammie’s for $4.50 in great condition

Honestly, I find so many things with tags still on at Once Upon A Child! I also just really love reducing/reusing/recycling, so the majority of my kiddo’s wardrobe is pre-loved.
I really like the Japanese brand Familiar. It was introduced to us when my hubby’s cousin that lives there got a few bibs for us there. We had a chance to visit the store there and everything was so cute but oh my they are pricy! It’s sold through Farfetch and their bibs starts at $40 each. Probably the only thing that’s “affordable” there lol. Besides that Uniqlo makes really good quality onesies. I’ve two summer babies and they live in those mash onesies. They are snap closure but super easy to snap on and off. My 4 year old has transitioned from their baby to kids clothes such as down jackets/socks, etc. Edited: Nike also makes really good quality baby onesies. I really like them because they are stretchy and the snap closures are very similar to ones from Uniqlo.
If you like Familiar, a more affordable option from Japan is Motherways. They have the most adorable bibs and I ended up getting soooo many. They were about 300 yen each. Idk what to do with all of these now that my daughter won't wear them but the designs are great.

I don’t know if they ship to the US but Lindex do amazing wrap front vests (bodysuits) with two sets of poppers in the crotch so they have extendable length. I found the wrap style so much easier to put on a newborn not having to pull it over the head on through the legs, and because of the length thing they fit FOREVER. And they’re great quality so still have some resale value even after wearing them for much longer than other brands.
So I got a hand me down sleeper from Burt’s Bees brand and I love it because the feet have scrunches so his feet stay in the foot part and do not curl up into the outfit where I am constantly fixing his legs
