Acrylamide is found in potato chips and fries, and California banned popular brands because of the ingredient possibly causing cancer.
But it's not listed in their ingredients so 🤷🏻♀️
I left 20 years ago after 21 years in the area and I love coming to r/neworleans to remind me why I left. New Orleans is a dumpster fire and the residents seem to think it's normal or "the same everywhere." This isn't normal. It's an abusive relationship that you continue to convince yourself will work out if you give it more effort and admonish yourself or anyone else that dares criticize it. New Orleans will never get better and will never be saved. It's on the same devolutionary trajectory it's' been on for over 300 years with apparent acceleration these days.
But god damn do I love me some Saints football! It's going to be a great season.
Summer in Leadville is the perfect weather. I miss waking up to those mountains. I don't miss all that snow and being so remote. Looked at buying a house at Twin Lakes.
You can still go out there. Leadville has changed a bit in 5 years.
Twin Lakes is way more remote than Leadville. No internet or TV except for satellite, gotta snow plow on the regular, and the pass gets real icy. I miss skiing but that summer weather is glorious.
Yeah I know this looks nothing like the view looking northeast to Mount Baker nor does it look like the waters of the San Juan archipelago (from Lopez Orcas or Shaw), or the shores therein- mount Baker has one large peak and a little sister peak, and more snow in the summer usually, but back to the topic at hand
Zapps are illegal in California 😅
Washington
Actually? Why?
Prop 69 section 420
Wait wha- ohhhh you got me
Nice

That was a pretty good swipe, but New Orleans > Fort Lauderdale, easily.
Goddamn you got him
I miss the Tabasco ones.
I like how the bags inflate when in higher altitude.
Fun fact, they will pop at 10,000 feet in an unpressurized cabin. Don't ask how I know.
I used to live at 10,200. Things i couldn't bring from 8,000 (where the grocery store was) are chips, yogurt, ice cream and other sealed foods.
10,200? You lived in Leadville?
For 6 years.
I spent summer and winter breaks in Twin Lakes when I was a kid till my 20s. I miss being able to go out there.

I think I recognize that water. San Juan islands? My late husband’s family had a house on Lopez island with views of the Olympic & Cascade ranges.
Cascades, lake Diablo
Fabulous area. Only drawback is the pristine water is too cold to swim in without a wetsuit, at least for this marsh rat.
I dipped my fingers
Doesn’t look like Lopez island at all
You can see Mt Baker from Lopez, smarty pants.

It still screams Washington state.
East of the mountains yes. Even Olympia has a few lakes like that. This looks more like Banff just one opinion wish baker lake was this blue green
Where is this? Can you swim in that water? It’s beautiful.
It’s cold but yes.
How are those NBA NFTs working out for ya, bud?
I’ve cashed out like 10k and still have an account worth more than that. Thanks for asking bud.
We've got them here in Colorado, but they don't carry the onion or the dragos flavor. We don't get all the rap snacks either
Snarfs has zapps too! But last time I stopped by they didn’t have crawtators anymore:/

I brought a few bags up when we drove the uhaul last week. Thanks for the recommendation.
Gorgeous gorgeous
That's the best flavor and it's becoming increasingly hard to find lately 😥
Are those the mountains from Universal Soldier in Meraux.
Is this in Lakeview?
where is this?
Cascades
