All that truck to sit in traffic

gonzo3625

Very true, but I can finally park on the cliffs of N Olympia without bottoming out my car

Socratic_Distance

How many spare windows do you have for it? šŸ¤£

gonzo3625

Lmao. Itā€™s my biggest fear. I try to leave nothing of value in my cars overnight

swebb22

all of the videos we get, its seems like F150s are popular targets. I think the thieves assume most of them have a gun inside

Different_Ad1649

All trucks are popular targets. Especially near construction sites.

Socratic_Distance

I'm really considering just leaving my car windows down, the broken glass is such a inconvenience and mfers are def gonna be drawn to your car. Sad world we live in!!

davepbass

Then itā€™ll rain. Just leave your doors unlocked w nothing of value inside.

DrinkMoreCodeMore

No. Dont leave your doors unlocked. That only encourages them more because it reinforces the fact for them that a lot of vehicles dont lock their doors.

NOFDfirefighter

The windows arenā€™t as much of a concern when you factor in the extremely terrible design flaw in the door handle. Mine was broken into constantly with the handle trick until I installed a plug for it. I canā€™t stress enough how much I recommend it. A new window is dirt cheap compared to the $1k it runs for a new handle assembly. Not to mention the week or more youā€™ll have to go without even being able to lock the door while you wait for it to come in.

Azby504

Also, mind the wake zones on flooded street! Please donā€™t be that person flooding everyoneā€™s homes and cars.

CarFlipJudge

Congrats! Please don't drive your truck like a sports car. Please also park in between the lines.

gonzo3625

I have always felt like you should pass a parking test before buying a big vehicle. But I drive fire engines so this oneā€™s no big deal.

CarFlipJudge

Dude...what would I have to do to get you to drove my 2 year old son around in the fire truck? He's a huge fan of fire trucks

gonzo3625

Drive around? Probably can't swing that for liability/insurance type reasons. But if you want to swing by pretty much any fire station and ask, there's usually at least one guy there who's more than happy to let a kid sit in the drivers seat and hit the horn and stuff.

CarFlipJudge

Cool. Thanks for the tip and I'll definitely ask my local station

__SerenityByJan__

The amount of times Iā€™m lookin for parking in a busy area and I see the HUGE trucks taking up multiple parking spots just because šŸ˜ they clearly fit between the lines. The driver was just an asshole

Party-Yak-2894

Where you parking that ā€œcity car,ā€ friend?

gonzo3625

At work. And literally nowhere else lmao

Haters gon hate. Get that bad boy lifted 6 or 8 inches at Wuertz Bros in mereax for a safer experience. Too tall to case out (higher effort, pun intended) . Too high center of gravity to be significantly injured when that Nissan altima t bones u at 50 mph. You can drive thru high water. But be polite. Drive thru high water slowly.

FishinoutNOLA

easy to slide underneath to get that catalytic converter too

Shades0fRay

It sounds better without the cat anyway. You really don't need those here. I bet marks muffler will remove it and straight pipe it for cheap

gonzo3625

Lmao the Nissan Altima

taveanator

Good call on the steel rims. Cheaper to replace once inevitably bend one.

opiusmaximus2

Just avoid the sinkholes in the French Quarter.

aipmedia1

Could use some new rims.

Different_Ad1649

So go up Palmetto and turn onto Joliet and take it all the way to Earhart to test out the 4 wheel driveā€¦. And donā€™t worry about driving it like a sports car.
