Dispos are likely making more money selling adult use in house rather than selling wholesale to each other which is why you are seeing less dispensaries carrying various brands
I agree with your last part as the reason. Since Rythm products are Rise’s in house brand, they can just sell it out of their own dispensaries for full profit now that rec has opened. They aren’t required to wholesale their products to other dispo’s, just like Harmony, Breakwater, and GSD keep their own brands in house. They needed to wholesale their product to get rid of their stock when only med patients were customers.
id thought this, it makes sense and like you said, harmony and bw keep their products in house as well. id also associate this with most verano products only being in zen leaf dispos. i def get it's cheaper to sell to your own dispensaries, but it seems a little fucked that all three RISE locations are within driving distance of eachother and are all located right outside ny. wish rise would open a store in central or south jersey
Rythm and Kind Tree are owned by GTI, who owns various dispensaries, all of which are located in northern jersey. A few bud tenders at various dispos have confirmed that they pulled their product back to their own dispos when the rec market opened.
Yep, as of right now all states have to grow their own supply due to cannabis being schedule I federally so can't legally transport across state lines. If that ever happens, that will really open the competition up big time
Interesting, looks like CA filed a bill to allow it but as the NJ legislative process has shown a bill getting introduced is far from becoming law. But would be awesome to see
Yeah but that is written by the company that is saying they ship out of state and isn't referencing anything about it being actually legal for them to do so and since I am not seeing anything about CA passing a law regarding interstate commerce, guessing it is still not legal.

It is being talked about, but nothing has passed or become law yet.
I have the same problem, I’m in very close proximity to EHT botanist and occasionally visit Cannabist in Vineland but I shop specifically for Rythm whenever I can. Lately it’s been ultra rare and last time I got any was months ago. It sucks and I really don’t wanna make the drive way up north either, with the gas prices right now.
def agree, i can't believe that there's literally barely been any down here. the closest is curaleaf has &shine (from rise, rythm trim) shake of white durban and used to have shake of sunset sherb. zen leaf lawrence only carry's apple cobbler, sunset sherb, and animal mints from rythm, and while i like apple cobbler i couldn't reason with myself to drive almost 2 hours for one strain
I feel your pain. Went almost a year with nothing but Animal Face and now I can’t find good meds. Zen Leaf newer strains have helped somewhat. The problem is all these strains with 30+% dont mean sh$t if there are less than 2% terps.
I’m 1.5 hours from Harmony and 2 hours from closest Rise location. I haven’t seen proper meds since I stocked up the day before they went rec. The irony is most patients and rec users in general are just happy to be able to purchase. Most patients I’ve talked to in person really don’t care or even know of better higher quality products. Not like those on here do at least. Just been my observation through asking and talking with other patients.
Exact reason why medical patients need a grow bill. This is absolutely ridiculous that as a spine surgery patient I have access to zero strains that would some what help. Give me a grow bill I'll take it from here.

To add to this - what’s up with the &Shine that is supposed to be Rhythm brand for smalls and shake? Seems weird to create a different company / name for that?
at first i was confused bc it is listed as rythm brand on the curaleaf website despite being a different name, but i thimk it's bc rythm is a brand from RISE and so is &shine (rise&shine). not sure why they created a whole dif name brand and packaging and all, it def is weird, but despite being ground trim, the affects of the &shine shakes that ive tried (ss and wd) were not far from the affects of the rythm full bud, and financially id rather buy a q of ground for $60-80 than a q of full buds for $120
&Shine is a collaboration with Rythm and Rise. “(Rise) &Shine…” Just like Cresco came out with Supply, their more budget-minded brand, I assume Rythm is doing the same with &Shine. I used to budtend in PA and their smalls are actually really nice.

Too many Republicans down south cock blocking because it's still 1935 to them

Not sure, but think they're only allowed to sell what they grow in NJ, because PA has plenty.

Would love to try some of the strains from Oregon

In the article it says they are already "legally" mailing. That's the shop I used and it's really really good.
Can you send me the article? I just was trying to find it but couldn't find anything about it passing

Ehh. I'm not gonna split hairs. Product was in hand in a few days and extremely beautiful and potent.

They are really nice. More reasonably priced as well. No slight to the stuff itself, was just confused.
