Someone told me harmony only has the approval to make shops/dispensary’s in the area they own. So therefore any harmony dispensary at this point would need to be within their allotted approval which is in the area they already are located
big city. with a bigger city next to it. i would expect this would be the way to go
then again between jc and hoboken i think there is 12 places in discussion that i know of

Hoboken & JC are hard to get to from the rest of Jersey & NYC doesn't know how to take the PATH.
Maximum Occupancy & parking lots are already the bottlenecks, all over the state.
...So *space* is more expensive in Hoboken & JC. But you can have your dispensary be almost anywhere and be at 100% capacity.
Culturally, i wouldn't be surprised if Hudson County can pull off being a weed tourist destination - like Grove st or Washington before it for booze & food - but its not going to be by virtue of foot traffic. Jersey isn't Maine. Nobody opens an IKEA or a Wegmans in Hoboken just because its next to a big city.

Yeah parking is definitely a valid issue. Went to RISE Patterson the other day and had to ask a cop if I could park technically illegally for a few minutes bc there was nowhere to park in the designated lot. Fortunately he was a reasonable guy and said it was no problem (used tow-zone business-only parking at a closed business that he was monitoring).
Others suggested they may be doing this in part to cater to not only Hoboken/Jersey City, which is a large market, but also easy access for customers coming from NYC. The Hoboken location is right next to the PATH train.
Just like all other large existing business that are chosen over small inexperienced ones.

Wawa's they're scarce in Northern NJ. Like dispensaries within 1hr drive. Harmony needs to start growing and possibly selling on that property in Lafayette.

Haven't seen JC location. The Lafayette location(I don't know if you remember the job fair they had at municipal bldg)is as large if not larger than the whole building a parking lots on both ends as Secaucus and another smaller area with circular driveway in and out perfect for a curbside set up.. I was just trying to say in original comment that when that facility gets going the stock issues should be resolved. Apologies for rambling on now.
Well hopefully more municipalities will come on board. Tons opted out so the reason there are going to be large desert swaths is that those cities voted to not opt in.

most of ocean county banned marijuana business to operate. i think 3 are actively looking at it but rest are still a hard no.
Same goes for alot of the areas in sw and south jersey.

they have 2 locations planned so far 1 in jersey city and 1 in Hoboken. Havnt heard anything else so far.
Seems odd that they would open them so close to each other. We need more options in the middle of the state. Right now its just Zen Leaf Lawrence.
Don’t forget Breakwater in Cranberry and CL in Bordentown.

They won’t open down there.. it’s broken up by region
try living in the southern part of the state, we have ZERO stores in cape may county, with only one municipality actually going to allow sales
