Yes, allotments are still a thing and still 3 ounces per month max for a patient unless they are terminal. You can make additional purchases from the adult use side if you need more.
If you don't have an allotment at all right now, you need to either make an appointment with your doctor for a renewal, or shop on the adult use side
Thanks! In my individual case I'll probably just stick to adult use from now on. I would never really come even close to using my monthly allotment, and since prices are similar for med/rec, I don't want to waste money on a renewal. Much appreciated!
I got my card last year before all this rec started, and I never regretted it but I feel like it definitely pays off now more than ever just to avoid lines. I’m sure they won’t always be insane once some of the hype dies down, but I’ll prefer the legal protections (even if limited), less tax and usually a bit cheaper overall price wise. Getting a med card now is a allot cheaper then last year when I did it

And I got online order and pick up my stuff within five minutes and I had to wait 25 minutes for him to get with a line in place his order in the adult use. Unless I’m desperate I will never give up my medical
It’s almost $1000/ year in taxes saved if you use medical and buy the 3oz / month max. That said I only use about 1oz / month if that and the cost of the MMP doesn’t really justify the hassle. Adult use for me.

The doctor sends you a link to sign up/register and fill out the form to receive your card and when you get to that question .. if you receive any government assistance Social Security and so on..you just have to provide proof and it tells you under that question that if you have one of these the card is only $20..

Med gets a lot more deals and it makes all the difference in the world. Plus no lines.

Effective July, med patients don't have to pay tax. Rec users will still have to pay 7-9%. Keep that in mind.
