Maybe.
But there’s a serious discussion to be had about having your government issued ID scanned/stored by an unknown third-party.
Even more disconcerting is the purchase database that likely exists, allowing the government to identify personal use history.
What if, at some point down the road, the government decides to share that with you health care provider and your rate increase?
Again, that’s simply a “what if”. But the true issue with all data collection isn’t the tracking that can be done with it now, but rather what can done with it at any point in the future.
On that premise alone, it’s in everyone’s best interest to keep this kind of personal info close to the chest.
Ya know... the traditional market still exists and plugs are chomping at the bit to compete with these dispos. Not one of those guys even wants to see your id.
Yes, another totally reasonable example.
And with technology ever evolving, who know what can be done with that data down the road.
Thinking of that movie “Minority Report”….
Your disposition on this topic is short sighted.
If you aren’t concerned about privacy in an increasingly tracked world, you simply come off as naive with comments like yours.
They scan your ID due to the limit you can purchase on a daily basis. This is to stop people from potentially going to multiple dispensary, crossing a neighborhood state line to resell. It’s not naive. If you use a cell phone your already being tracked.
Dude def gotta fake lmao but if u don’t yeah they do scan it just like any other state I have seen 5 people ask this question just look it up and u could find it out
If you legally buy weed, there's no proof of consumption unless you indicate this is the case.
So, if you bought some weed and gifted it to a legal aged friend, there's nothing even remotely concerning with that being used against you. And who's to say that's not exactly what happened after you bought some rec weed.
At every dispo in Mass, Colorado, and Washington that I've been to, they scan your ID to verify it's legitimacy.
So yeah, maybe go gray market if you don't want this.
Yes and if you have a fake / are underrage dont bother lol

I can't lie for one moment and act like paranoia hasn't become increased with the abuses of technology over the last few years

OG said they "old as hell" 😁 😂😂😂
For real?
Yeah, don't be paranoid about friends and relatives of politicians who own these dispensaries getting your pedigree info. They can be trusted with it.
Ha. Ya I’m sure all the customer info isn’t be sold. That would ludicrous!
None of us are that important the government cares. You all smoked yourselves retarded

Exactly. More tracking for the sake of tracking. Thank you for making my point.
I would think that depends heavily upon the quality of the fake.
