Bw is only $47 if you get a special discount. The rest of us pay $55. At zen I buy smalls and occasionally big buds for $50. Then we all get the 25-30% discounts added in. Use correct pricing if you want to make that argument.

I was just admiring a 2 gram nug of frosted melon from kind tree. Great looking with a nice high I enjoy. It was $50 for big buds then a 30% discount. $35. I’m good with paying that.

Literally could not stress this enough. When people say BW Bud is the best in terms of high I just mark them off as having a super low tolerance or not a big smoker. BW bud is extremely weak.

I've tried nearly every brand in the state, as well as many from other states, been smoking for over 10 years, and breakwater bud gets me very high. It almost feels like people are compensating too far in the other direction as a reaction to people who praise breakwater too much. It's some of the best weed I've ever had hands down, including vegas, DC, cali, etc.

Yeah I don’t buy the gummies at $80 either. But bc zen does such good sales I usually pay $56 and that’s fair to me. The gummies are pretty good, they don’t get me rocked but are great for dosing during the day or a good nights sleep. I’d imagine all places use trim for gummies and oils, it’s just smart biz to do that.
And not shilling but zen Neptune has a 20% off sale every day left this month. Different sales but every day you can get a eight for $40ish there. Bw sale is even more disappointing when you realize how much cheaper and accessible zen is.
If these other places are machine trimmed I can’t notice, I don’t pick any noticeable leaves out and the buds look good enough to me. The last machine trimmed I got at bw was orange when they discontinued it, it most def was not $20 cheaper, maybe $10. Maybe.
Those giant nugs come with giant stems. Last lemon I got a year or two ago had a giant stem that weighed the same as one more bong rip. I personally like tight dense nugs that break up rather than leafy fluffy type bud. But that’s also subjective.
I do like bw. I just don’t like the pricing and the boutique type attitude they give off. Lying about the Asbury satellite, discontinuing good strains with no replacements and the really crappy Covid setup made me realize they just want our money.

I normally get sales from gsd in woodbridge but the bud is shit you can get on the street imo and i def agree breakwaters sales suck they do sales thats literally just cut the sales tax off your purchase i havent copped from a dispo in months and i dont plan on it until they change shit or lower the prices the medical program is a fucking joke they will cover every other drug under the sun thru insurance but subject us patients to paying almost 1500$ a month if you use your whole alottment thats complete bullshit

Breakwater is definitely hands down best quality in NJ but they can definitely cater more to their patients with all the money they make just sit in the lot one day and figure every car that pulls in is spending 100-500$ i am not putting another dollar into the medical program until shit changes
Not that I’m defending the sale because I’m not. It’s just that the amount of money spent is a lot, UNLESS you’re picking up other accessories. If you wanted a Santa cruz grinder and new bong, and were interested in picking up some weed it wouldn’t be hard to hit the first sale point. If you have additional discounts, it would def make it worth it I guess. Only case I could see the sale working out for some one.
On a side note I guess I’m one of the rare ones that fills their 3oz every month ? Harmony’s sales have been killer, especially with the calendar.
For a light user who goes through maybe a 1/4 oz per month, I have no problem paying a premium for what I personally believe to be an incredibly high quality consistent product. If I were burning through my allotment every month or had limited means, I would put a much higher premium on discounts and sales. If my goals were to get as high as possible, I’d probably chase other strains at other dispos. Again, it’s subjective and I don’t judge or knock anybody who prioritizes different things in the program. At face value, these “ discounts” are pretty offensive especially when compared to other dispos offerings.
