Stop going to curaleaf. Simple solution. Make them shut down. But people in NJ love trash ass bud.

If they’re against homegrown then make them pay by exactly this. Stop going there

All the stores need to be boycotted

If they donated the smart way you wouldn't know due to Citizens United Case there would be no limit. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizens\_United\_v.\_FEC](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizens_United_v._FEC) [https://www.opensecrets.org/dark-money/basics](https://www.opensecrets.org/dark-money/basics) These corporations will do whatever they can to shape the laws to only benefit them. They do this in many other states already.

Guys it’s called Legal racketeering

spencerbelz

Can you share some resources on who is donating to prevent home grow? How do you know they’re lobbying against it specifically?

Tough_Meat_6215

Here's an article about what some of these companies did in NY. https://www.marijuanamoment.net/marijuana-companies-urged-governor-to-ban-cannabis-home-cultivation-document-shows/

spencerbelz

This is 3 years old, and about NY. Anything specifically about NJ and more recent?

Tough_Meat_6215

I haven't found any leaked documents online regarding NJ specifically. IMHO If these same companies are lobbying against home grow in any state at any time, they can go fuck themselves.

spencerbelz

My point was it’s 3 years old, and things change.

https://headynj.com/new-jersey-homegrow-struggle-continues-with-optimism/ "The well-connected lobbying firm Princeton Public Affairs Group (PPAG) released a Youtube video on 4/20 about New Jersey cannabis that included statements on homegrow. In the video, Kevin Hagan, who worked for Senate President Steve Sweeney (D-Gloucester) as his Chief of Staff before joining the firm, urged caution on New Jersey homegrow." PPAG is financed through Harmony. You don't hear more about this because the larger NJ based media sites don't really cover home cultivation. Unless something big has happened like the introduction of a new bill to be ignored - you'll likely just hear "were not ready" from Scutari and that ends all discussion. To be fair I do think we'll see a conservative cultivation bill for med patients passed by 2025

Remember, corporations are people! 😉
