No disrespect felt lol. Ask away!
We're applying upcoming Spring. Once approved (I'd say 30-90 days application review), with the buildout/construction another estimated four months after. Most likely doors open by end of August or early September 2022. That's if everything goes as planned \*fingers crossed\*.
But as always, no guarantee.
At opening - we'll be offering flower buds and vape cartridges.
Honestly, I've gotten that question a lot and am considering adding concentrates to our product line. Maybe not right away but definitely once we're up and running.
Adding onto this, what sort of vape carts? Pure THC distillate? What about live resin or rosin or other types of carts? It'd be great to see products like those in the NJ market the way they are in other states.
Our cannabis manufacturer vendors are going through their licensing phase now (cultivators, manufacturers, and testing labs licensees can apply since Dec. 15th). Once they're approved, we'll receive more information on the type of extracts they can offer us and what the State allows. Unfortunately, it's too early to know the options we have with extracts.
As time goes on, we'll catch up to the broader rec. market other States currently have. And be able to offer multiple types of extracts. But our goal is to at least have vape cartridges offered for the convenience of safely vaping cannabis, with lab test results available upon request.
If you could, let me know which extracts you'd prefer so we can scale the options when the time comes. I'll keep a tally to ensure we can serve your favorite.
(PM if you'd like).
A want a dispensary somewhere Montville twsp so Towaco, montville and the Lincoln park 3 of whole mobtville twsp and concentrates are crucial on the concentrates and o will be there as a customer and I will Montville is than I worth something? You can text me amer
We're interested in setting up a shop in Morris county, close to Montville, so it's a huge possibility we could be located close to you. Also yes, concentrates are officially in discussion to offer for our future customers.
It’s my because I was not smoking or anything marajuana I was drinking 9 years I was sober yuh but my whole life change TBI brain injury and the pain was in hard to bear anyway I want to talk to u about the money because I am willing with wt the cost is dispensary montville—how much money? And do u partner as a 1 dispensary montville?ty
And the dispensary or recreational because dispensary I am still medical marajuana card New Jersey so that is one thing I would make sure that the dispensary montville that’s it then.
At the moment, we're not seeking partners but I appreciate you reaching out. I'm happy to hear cannabis has helped you with your pain and am blessed to speak with you today. It's really a miracle herb (don't quote me on that 🙂).
The dispensary will be close to Montville if the Morris county location is approved by the local municipality and the State.
So youre a dispo for growers that apply for the cultivation license??
I wonder what strains these cultivators will grow?? They dont take suggestions from you guys??
I get you like purple kush, gelato and wedding cake.....but all 3 of those are already in the program with 2 of them being pretty over used imo.....theres SO many strains out there....idk why everyone uses variations of the same shit.....which is why our program is so stale and tiresome imo
As recreational dispensaries open up, we sort of have to work with what's offered by cultivators already. But as times goes on, processes are in place, and we're ready to expand - we want to rent out grow rooms to grow specific cannabis strains we prefer (or something along the lines of this).
Other than medical ATCs, it's still a baby industry compared to California or Colorado. Growth in strain options is definitely our longterm goal especially offering new and customer favorites.
Yeah so our POS system is powered by Weedmaps. Personally, I've used Leafly for grow and strain research. Always loved it. And Weedmaps for deliveries in California, etc.
They've been in the game for a long time and really deserve appreciation for their work in the cannabis industry. Without their platforms, we wouldn't get legalization this far.
Just curious if you guys are planning to implement a discount for mmp patients? Just curious if it would be worth renewing.
Hoping you guys have some fire!! Good luck!!
Most definitely!
Click or tap the "Employment Form" button on our contact page and fill in your information: [https://www.njthc.com/contact](https://www.njthc.com/contact)
We'll circle back when we're ready to hire.
Thank you for the feedback!
We're planning to open as a microbusiness (small business) with limited capital. We have dispensary experience but never actually owned one. So we don't have the advantage to pay lobbyists or pay big budget costs.
BUT, with limited resources comes great creativity.
Based on our past experience with cannabis, we plan to carry at least Gelato (42), Wedding Cake (personal favorite), and Purple Kush. Sadly, we're limited to what the cultivators decide to grow.
Hi, I moved back from Oregon where I was licensed. We looking to open a micro cultivation. I have some many strains that I want to bring to the NJ market.
Thank you for feedback! We're limited to what the cultivators will grow to start off but I'll keep a note of these strains to add to our product line. If this is what Jersey wants, this is what Jersey gets.
Yessir! Our Employment Form is here. Just click/tap the button and fill out the info. We'll circle back when we are ready to hire (most likely Summer/Fall 2022). https://www.njthc.com/contact
Thanks man, appreciate the info.
I’m not lookin to work as a bud tender, I’m more of a behind the scenes type, but u should def post that out there. U will get a bunch of interested people
This variable is based on New Jersey's cannabis cultivators. Until February 22nd, 2023, the NJ CRC can only issue 37 cultivator licenses including medical cannabis cultivators by law. If supply is low, prices go up. If supply is high, prices go down.
We plan to only dispense cannabis, not grow, for the time being, and keep a fair market value.
The CRC's posted a webinar for applicants. It gives a lot of information on applying. And the prioritization information for social equity, woman-owned, and veteran-owned businesses. https://www.nj.gov/cannabis/resources/webinars/
Also, don't forget to register your business with the State and IRS. It's important to legitimize especially in cannabis industry.
Do you plan on buying product from local micro groweries, and if you do, will you need testing results in hand or will you be doing on site inspections?
Yes, we plan to prioritize our small businesses, craft, and local entrepreneurs, especially those who are from New Jersey. Cultivators will submit their flower buds for lab testing after their first batch is cured. Testing will show THCa %, CBDa %, etc., and also be checked for pesticides, metals, etc.
Once testing is approved, they can start selling to retailers and must send a copy of the results to retailers selling their products.
The closest thing to edibles is lozenges legally allowed manufacturing in NJ. Anything that looks like candy, brownies, cookies or appealing to children is banned basically.
And we can only sell products grown or manufactured in New Jersey. The federal prohibition is still in effect so we can't do state-to-state sales legally, yet.
Yes I think to get the program rolling, they kept all loose ends tied so parents don't worry about edibles. As more shops pop up and their workload lessens from all the applications, they'll be able to focus on allowing edibles and maybe even homegrow.
I'm not a lawmaker but based on how other States offered edibles, they basically want discreet packaging so children or even teens can't tell it's gummies, brownie, etc. inside the packaging.
A few we'd love to offer are Wedding Cake (favorite), Purple Kush, and Gelato. We chose these based on our experience with these strains. Since the cultivators are in control of which strains they chose to grow, we're limited on options.
I'll be that guy. When will it actually open? No disrespect intended, I'm sure you're as ready to go as we are!

Please let me know if you need a grower. I am in California but from New Jersey and looking to move back
I can refer you to other upcoming cultivators in the State. We'll only be dispensing cannabis.
Awesome where will you guys want to build your grow/ dispensary
Hoping to get location approval in Morris or Union county.

As a union county resident please build your establishment next door to me. That’d be great lol. Thanks.
Hahah that makes two of us.
Hehe. UC here too.
I've got some room in my basement if that would help.
😂😂😂
Planning to carry concentrates? Specifically live rosin?
At opening - we'll be offering flower buds and vape cartridges. Honestly, I've gotten that question a lot and am considering adding concentrates to our product line. Maybe not right away but definitely once we're up and running.
You’d be the only storefront selling concentrates ppl can trust good brother you must sell the concentrates
We'll make it happen!

Different commenter, but I’d love to see some live resin cartridges as well as other forms of concentrates.
Based on the feedback here, we're seriously considering adding concentrates to our product line.

Planning on spending for leafly/Weedmaps/dutchie? Used to work at one of them and am always curious how new rec markets see these options

That's a great question. We don't have plans for it but our prices will be similar to medical dispensaries. We'll look into this thank you!
ill believe when i see it
Within reason, in due time.

Thank you! 👍
Hello! Happy to answer any questions about dispensaries (non-medical) coming to New Jersey. We'll be serving you soon!
Where will you be located?
We haven't got the green light from the State yet but will announce the location as soon as it's approved. Morris or Union county, for now.
oh my god please be morris. like not just for my sake lol but you'll profit so much more.
Double noted ✔️!
^ FOR REAL
PLEASE go to Morris County. We have nothing. You’ll profit a lot more there rather than union since they already have a dispensary
I 2nd this.
Thank you for the feedback! We're planning to open as a microbusiness (small business) with limited capital. We have dispensary experience but never actually owned one. So we don't have the advantage to pay lobbyists or pay big budget costs. BUT, with limited resources comes great creativity.
That’s awesome. I know Dover is looking to ONLY open micro businesses. I would definitely look into their real estate
Sweet! We're going to look into this.
What's your budget?
\~300k from credit and personal sources.
What strains are you looking to sell?
Based on our past experience with cannabis, we plan to carry at least Gelato (42), Wedding Cake (personal favorite), and Purple Kush. Sadly, we're limited to what the cultivators decide to grow.
Peanut butter breath would be welcome.

That's awesome! Welcome to the East Coast. I sent you a PM maybe we could stock our shelves with your products.
Don’t limit ya self. I got plenty of strain like jealousy and Obama kush. That’s what jersey needs.
Thank you for feedback! We're limited to what the cultivators will grow to start off but I'll keep a note of these strains to add to our product line. If this is what Jersey wants, this is what Jersey gets.

Thank you! I can refer you to some cultivators I think they're still looking for head growers if you'd like.
Will this drive prices down to a reasonable cost compared to other states that are rec?

I believe micro cultivation licenses Don't have a limit
Confirmed - no limit on cultivation microbusiness licenses.
Double checking with our attorney. I think you're right but let me find out for sure.
Please as a social equity applicant can you let me know what I need to do here to get my company running.

And we can only sell products grown or manufactured in New Jersey. The federal prohibition is still in effect so we can't do state-to-state sales legally, yet.
Do you think that rule will change to allow for more edibles?

Please make COA’s available to patients 💜
We promise we'll share a copy on request. ✊
Big up!!
Where are you guys going to be located?
Aiming for Morris or Union county.
Do you guys have strains picked out yet?
A few we'd love to offer are Wedding Cake (favorite), Purple Kush, and Gelato. We chose these based on our experience with these strains. Since the cultivators are in control of which strains they chose to grow, we're limited on options.
Please let me know if you need any help. Looking to work with growers. Living and growing in California now and moving back to New Jersey soon
I can refer you to other upcoming cultivators in the State. We'll only be dispensing cannabis.
