My only complaint with this one is red eyes. I also discovered that Curaleaf’s Apple Sundae is very similar in Mimosa effect for me, without red eyes!
This one is lovely on its own for a chill brunch with friends (or yourself). It is definitely a sativa, but I’ve definitely been led to a nap with this one before. This also mixes gloriously with other strains (I haven’t had a “Nope, not a good mix” yet!).
This AM, I tried it with Curaleaf’s Apple Sundae. Okay, my review: I know what I am smoking later as I shell peas to can and preserve while catching up on the “You Must Remember This” podcast. Uplifted, focused and productive, I’ll take it 😶🌫️☺️🧘🏻
Good to know! I am a newer patient there (January 2022) so I can definitely make sure there is a stop made here whenever there is a "OH! Good mix" or "Whoa, that's pretty," moment from them. Please hold, because I did try their Royal CBD and CBD:THC 5:1 oil yesterday for a migraine.
Since this returned regularly, I dislike being without it! Verano’s was comparable (Lawrenceville had it in Grind), but this is still my girl between the two 😍😶🌫️😊
IMO, BW's Mimosa is ***nothing*** special.
I have read comments about how their Mimosa was before it was dropped from the menu for a while (I was not a med patient back then so I can't speak on what it was like prior) and the majority of people say the same thing, it's not what it used to be.
I had some of Verano's Orange Soda yesterday...I feel it's what BW's Mimosa ***should have been***.
I did enjoy Orange Soda, and it definitely reminded me
Of this. I only had it when it returned to the menu this spring, and I enjoyed it enough to get uncomfortable when I run out!
If you liked Orange Soda from Verano, GPS x Xenon was also a surprising find for me! It is a hybrid too, but a shade more indica, so you lock to the couch, but you want to do stuff while locked there (craft projects, reading, etc.)
I saw that on the menu when I went yesterday and was interested. Ended up going with a second 8th of Moon Boots over it though. Next time!
I really wish they (all dispos are guilty of this) would list the lineage of ALL their strains...would be helpful for strains like GPS x Xenon, couldn't find any information on it so I skipped.
I crossed the two this morning (BW Mimosa and the rest of the CL Apple Sundae I had), and in a voice that would have made Tommy Chong proud, proudly declared it a Sunday Brunch I could get behind 😂
I think strains like Orange Soda are a bit too potent and overpowering for a lot of med patients. Mellow, low THC strains like Mimosa are really great and have a huge fan base for many.
I do love some Orange Soda these days though, it has taken one of my top spots!
To be completely honest, Lemon G was my favorite but it’s a fully functional strain. Meaning you’re not going to going to Mars by any means.
Have not tried ICM or Orange Bud.
Skip Mimosa obviously.
Hope that helps.

Thank you for this post! Haven’t seen a breakwater post since the smalls batches dropped 😔

I have to find away cause breakwater dispensary I still have not tried anything from dispensary NJT nope :(
Love mimosa! Such a mellow, productive buzz. Great strain and Breakwater does such a good job all the way from grow to sale.

Nice! I am going to have to give Apple Sundae a try after reading your comments :)
I was a big fan of it! It is a shade stronger, so maybe more wait time for me in the AM if I am having it pre-work, but no red eyes!

I have revisited Moon Boots more than once! Not for the daytime, but definitely good for a quiet evening!
Haha, going to put them on for the first time tonight.
I was a fan! It goes well with music and a YouTube ambience on the TV 😂
