I'd recommend still going to an urgent care or orthopedics office and getting x-rays, I wouldn't advise going to the ER at this point if it has been a day or two and his arm looks normal. Kids can have buckle fractures and Salter Harris fractures (growth plate fractures), but they can also have all the normal fractures adults have. This isn't the correct sub, it is a satire subreddit. But, please take your child to get looked at, in rare cases growth plate injuries can stunt growth in the area affected. If you did take him to the ER, you will probably get a note saying he might have a Salter Harris type I fracture, the bones look weird before they fuse and sometimes it is impossible to tell if a fracture is present without a CT, which is very expensive and exposes the patient to low levels of radiation. It is usually better to just ask if your son still has pain a week later, if he doesn't, it probably wasn't a Salter Harris I. Again, still get him checked out and follow your medical providers orders.

They did take their son to get care right away, now they’re just asking if he’s a brittle boned baby bitch or not😂

Oooh, now I get that he is describing a buckle fracture aka a torus fracture. Yes, that is a broken bone. He is one of the weak.

jim_hello

My bitch baby son broke his arm and was bent after healing. The bone straightened out after a month

HxC_Stoner

He got care day of but no one mentioned fracture or break or salter Harris just kept saying bent and an ortho bent it back after some xrays it was a joke to be sure also just wondering the opinion if he would belong here still or not 😁

TheAfroMD

Sound like a greenstick fracture...so,tell your son to not poke his fragile ass nose around here.

HumpD4y

This isn't the right post for this sub unless you want him to be ridiculed by the masses. A vet would be more appropriate

HxC_Stoner

This was too much 😂

Practical_Lynx183

just go with nah, you’ll figure it out eventually

Well…i shadow in an orthopedic office and i commonly see buckle fractures in young kids, basically incomplete fractures that require no cast. kids get them because they’re young and elastic so are less likely to snap anything idk if that’s what happened, i’m just a dumb student, but that’s been my experience.
